For a novice this book sets the tone with small bits of info to get you foot in the door. I don't recommended this book for individuals who have been smoking for a few years as it may repeat and bore you. Good links and solid passages provide just enough for the "interested" smoker to want more.I particularly enjoyed seeing "join a cigar club or forum" in the text as well as "try different types of cigars". Communication and diversity will assist an enthusiast to find that perfect personal treasure as well as educating others.

Loved this book very informative

Great overview of a wonderful hobby. The information is a great start for further exploration and conversation starter with other cigar smokers. If you are a more experienced cigar smoker, you may want more detailed information.

Relevant and reliable source of information. This guide covers it all, straight to the point. Easy to understand even for a beginner like me.

A little dry and boring... no pics... husband says there was a little bit of "helpful" info, but not really a great buy. Of course, this is just his opinion. Books are subjective and we try not to judge! Somebody might love it!

Informative in many ways but treats many subjects very superficially.

Very easy read, basic information for the absolute starter without to much specific information.for my taste to easy.

Brief and dry. Could have done with some pictures, if only line drawings; maybe some humour, or a bit of history. Not sure anyone's going to become a connoisseur on the back of it as it seems designed more with the newcomer in mind. Could have been called 'Mr Boring Smokes His First Cigar.' Better books out there on the subject which are worth the few quid extra.

Great informative read especially for beginners! But not just beginners anyone. Easy reading now fancy words ect. Just good honest information

Pity a good book ruined by lack of illustrations... absolutely none . Not 1 photo . So I can't recommend this book in any way or form
