TYR Adult Swim Shades Mirrored Goggles

Out of serendipity I bought a Smoke colored pair at Modells. They were great but a little to dark for the indoor pool where I swim.Saw these for Amazon for a great price and the blue color is definitely better for indoor and outdoor swimming. Recently took a trip to Atlantis (water park resort) and people kept stopping me to ask where I got them from and to tell me how cool they look! In addition to having a sleek look, these goggles are well constructed with a tight eye seal and an excellent fit. It even comes with a soft fabric pouch!An overall great buy I would definitely recommend these and also having a spare pair just in case they stop making these.

These are great for my husky kiddo who isn't big enough for adult sizes, but is a bit too big for youth sizes. He loves the look and they work really well for him. No leaks.

These Tyr mirrored goggles are definitely attention getter, but my issue with them is in the function.The one piece mirrored len is good on rigidity, however the problem is, the rubber gasket that is supposed to form a suction around your eyes, the design here basically created a "gutter-like" section at the top of the goggle, so when you have your face straight down like looking directly at the bottom of the pool, and you kick off, the water that rushed at the "gutter" creates very high pressure that break the seal; if you are a heavy kicking-off-the-wall swimmer like me, every time you flip turn you will lose your seal, if you don't look directly forward with you head once you make your flip turn, right before you kick off.Fashion > function. But for the price it's offered here, I can't really complain too much

Excellent goggles! I do swim often in the summer in outdoor pools with very bright sun, and I do have light colored eyes...These goggles will help me to protect my eyes better and keep swimming in very bright light, expeciallly when I do backstrokes. Alkso, the design is great...it feels like wearing regular sun shades...

These are very comfy and look cool! I have a pair of smoke mirrors too. The multicolored ones have a little bit of o blue hue for view. I like them

I swim about 5000 yds a week. I go through goggles. I was really enticed by the appearance and the perceived quality of the brand. Maybe I hyped them too much but they flat out didn't work. The goggles simply would not seal onto my face. Now face-shape is certainly subjective; and possibly the one-piece lens designs resists normal flex of traditional hinged-at-the-nose goggles but water continuouly flowed in. Worst actually was above water everything was crystal clear. Under water they were blurry and distorted. Since I really wanted to like these I let 3 different swim buddies try them and each came to the same conclusion. I bought a second pair. Same thing. So, they work really really well as sunglasses, if you need sunglasses that have complete eye protection. But underwater, pass. Shame, cool design.

This is my 3rd pair. I keep getting new ones because my family and friends keep stealing them. Only because they are amazing googles

Bought them for my 4yr and they fit great. They look like they will last him years so fingers are crossed. They work well, look cool, and my son loves them.
