No holes!!
It doesn't have any holes in ?? And hurts too much to try and push the metal hook through. Very disappointed

You have to cut the holes, and if you aren’t a professional then don’t expect a miracle
Not the world greatest quality but good for the price. The Bad: Having to put your own holes in. It took me about an hour snipping folding each little circle in to a point and then snipping it.The cap is kind of an inconsistent thickness so snipping some holes was really hard. Some really easy. Some ended up the full size of the hole. Some less. The Good: It came with the hook. The holes you have to cut are at least marked. It’s pretty stretchy. I can use it again.Basically this cost me just over £6 and turned up the next day. It’s the old fashioned way of highlighting hair and while I would normally copy my hairdresser and I’ve got goodish at doing my own foils I am prone to making myself a bit stripy so this helped me be a bit more “random”.You do have to cut the holes. If you try poke them through while it’s on you will hurt yourself. The smaller the hole the better the finish. Finally I have thick, medium length hair but nothing quite prepared me for the boredom and pain of pulling hair through this cap. I think any longer and you should use foils or just suck up the fact you won’t be seeing your hair dresser for a while. YouTube videos on technique using this will be your friend. It won’t make it feel like any less effort.Chances are I will be trying foils instead again, but this is pretty ok if it’s what your used to.

Great highlighting cap
Due to the lockdown as a professional hairdresser, I used this as the wholesale is closed . Having used these many years ago, they done change. Quality is good and yes you do have to punch the holes in. Years ago we fought over who got to punch the holes through. So put the kettle on, get yourself comfy and have a go!! Colour didn’t leak through and cap didn’t tear. Just a heads up put talcum powder in the cap before you put it on and plenty of conditioner when you’re taking it off. If using bleach and your hair is brassy it means you haven’t left the bleach on long enough( just saying lol
