H and N Hunting-Sampler Packs .22 cal. (5 types)

I’ve found pellet samples to be useless. The pellets often aren’t even good representations of the pellet that you’d buy if you bought that particular type. It’s like they assemble these with the rejects. Not just HN as they’re the best quality for a sampler but all of them. Just buy HN FTTs and stop messing around with anything else. If your gun doesn’t shoot HN FTTs accurate enough for hunting or target then you probably should buy a new gun. I’ve shot many guns from cheap to expensive and am currently on a 5 gun run on Gamos and every one of them shoots FTTs as accurate as guns 2-3 times more in cost.

Excellent assortment. While I am unlikely to buy some of the pellets again (other brands being much cheaper for about the same thing), some of them were also quite good. And the big thing being I did not have to buy a tin of 250 or 500 just to find out how a given pellet performs. Overall, I liked this lot. BTW- same company, H&N, makes what I consider to be the best .22 pellet, the H&N Hornet.

Finding the right pellets for your air rifle is a must. This is a great way to find out without buying a whole tin Of pellets just to find out they're not accurate out of yours. These results were from a bull boss 22 Cal. My air rifle did not like the silver point at all!

By far the best packaged variety pack of pellets I have used. Each set of pellets is clearly marked and in its own separate container that seals tight. Good variety of weights to test what yourgun likes. Also its one of the few places you can get the H&N Baracuda hunters , which my Hatsan 125 vortex Q.E. loves. Great pack , would order again.

Air rifles "like" some types of pellets more than others. Finding the right pellet for accuracy and range takes experimenting. This selection of pellets provides a good selection to try.In addition, the company provides excellent service and support. For those new to air rifles or for those want to increase their knowledge, the company has excellent videos on which pellets to use with different types of rifles (PCP, spring-pistin, CO2) and barrels (brass or steel).

The value is missing in this sample pack. I didn’t like 2 of the 5 styles of pellets for their lack of accuracy and difficulty in loading. Pricey for the low volume of each style of pellet they make to fire in a .22 cal pellet rifle.

I like the ability to test a variety of pellets to find the one my rifle likes. In this case, my Benjamin Varmint likes the Crow Magnums. They are shooting a very tight group at 30 yards. This sampler lets you narrow down the most accurate pellet for the rifle, without having to buys several hundred of each to test them.

Most pellets in the sampler fired ok and with varying degrees of accuracy, but the Baracuda Power copper plated pellets are pure garbage. Several heavily deformed pellets. Contacted H&N directly and they did quickly respond and sent replacements, which were also the same junk. Some pellets so badly deformed they can’t be loaded. Those that can be loaded are tight and get stuck mid barrel or barely make it out. Tried with three different air rifles, all the same result. Gave to some friends to try in their guns also with same results. Disappointing especially since these are made in Germany. Don’t waste your money.

A great way to test different types of ammo for a bargain price. The same ammo does not work the same in all guns and finding the best one can be costly. These are quality pellets not just cheap junk. 5* idea and product. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

Was able to find the best pellet for my gun and target. Sqwirls were dropping like rain.
