Used the cleaner and Vinyl Renu products on my 21 year old vinyl siding a few months ago. The siding was oxidized, the dark blue trim and scallop siding were faded. The clapboard siding would get dirty fast even after washing with mild soap using a brush. Because it was oxidized, it held dirt and would get dirt in no time. When hosing it down, if you rubbed the wet siding with your hand, the clean water would get dirty, it held the dirt. The Vinyl Renu not only brought back the siding colors, it remains clean; it does not hold the dirt, and doesn’t seem to attract it like it used to. Sort of like putting “Rain-X” on a windshield, it fills in the porous, oxidized siding leaving a smooth surface. I used it on my house and 4 car, 2-story garage. The 3 overhead doors also look great and don’t hold dirt like before. We used a sprayer that I bought for this project to apply 2 coats, it goes on easy. I am a siding contractor in the Chicago area and I couldn’t be happier with this product.

Our Vinyl siding is around 25 years old and I was looking for something that might restore it. Frankly I was a little skeptical Vinyl Renu would make a difference. I am happy to say I was wrong. I usually don't write reviews but thought this might help someone. o like any job, the prep-work is the hardest and most important part. The cleaning solution provided is excellent - I applied with a pump sprayer after diluting with water. I used a scrub brush and then hosed off the siding. Everything looks better once cleaned but the Renu product brings back the luster as well as the color. As the picture above attests - on the left is after cleaning - on the right is cleaning and applying the Renu. You can see the difference. I used an inexpensive electric sprayer - application of Renu was fairly easy - did two coats. Have actually purchased a second gallon of Renu because the 1st gallon was not enough to do more than the front of our house. I have to also do the side that faces the street -because you can easily tell the difference from a distance as well as up close. Really good product. Hope this helps, -Dave

Followed directions with the cleaner and the restorer . I put the cleaner on with a bucket and long handled soft brush with a 5 to 1 ratio of water to product, let set one minutes then rinsed with a water hose. Dried over night. Next morning used restored with a good 4 and 5 inch brush. Everything was easy and went on smoothly. Immediately saw the difference and now after 5 days it looks just like the siding that did not have sun damage. I only did one coat. The brushes cleaned up easily and are very pliable. I thought the product went a long way and I still of plenty of the restorer left after doing one side of our house.

We felt like the product really lived up to its hype. Would have given five star but the time it took us to wash the whole vinyl house first was a lot of work. Vinyl looked brand new once done. Product was very easy to use and dried fast. Would recommend to others.

Waste of money and time. I purchased this product, July, 2022, and applied per instructions. At first it looked good. The second summer, it began spot fading, especially the south side of my house. This summer, 2025, the south side is 90% faded badly in large patches. The other sides are developing black mold spots even worse than before product was applied. I used the "cleaner" as instructed prior to applying the Vinyl RENU. (I even called the help line to ensure I was following instructions correctly.) It took me two full weekends to complete the project. What a waste if time and money. My siding looks even worse than before when I would just clean it every 3 years. Absolutely would not recommend this product. Only three summers and it looks terrible. I'm not sure how I can make the siding even look as good as it did prior to applying the VINYL RENU. Terrible product.

I love this product. I have vinyl siding that was fading, making it look old. I followed all of the instructions concerning prep by cleaning. I hand cleaned the siding with the Renu Cleaner with the recommended ratio. It could see the difference while cleaning and a marked improvement after the product dried. The next step I had to make a decision on haw to apply the brighter/sealer. After eveluating how long it would take to apply with a brush, I decided to invest in a professional paint sprayer. It made quick work of applying the finish. After it dried it honestly looks like new vine siding was installed. No more faded, dull coloring. I am very pleased with this product. I highly recommend this product especially if you have vinyl siding on your home. The family that invented Renu has an outstanding product. Just can't say enough how pleased I am, thank you.

The cleaner cleaned my solar damaged front door (fiberglass). The restorer did well on lightly damaged parts of the door but didn’t help more severely damaged areas. Covered over with gel stain and UV protectant to halt further damage. Result was adequate but not blemish free. Functional.

The product does work pretty well, although it is not a magical solution for all of the faded vinyl. The issue I have is that it was leaking when it arrived. Makes me concerned about quality control on the production line.
