I have been using the Proactiv Treatment consistently, and it truly works. The before and after difference in my skin is noticeable. In my before photo with darker hair, my skin had more active breakouts, redness, and uneven texture. After sticking to the routine, my skin looks clearer, calmer, and more balanced. The benzoyl peroxide face wash does a great job of keeping my pores clean without feeling too harsh, and the repairing acne spot treatment helps existing blemishes heal faster. Using all three steps together made the biggest difference for me. Results were not overnight, but with patience and consistency, my skin steadily improved. Breakouts became less frequent, and my overall complexion looked healthier. I recommend easing into the routine and moisturizing well to avoid dryness. If you are looking for a system that actually delivers results when you stick with it, Proactiv is worth trying.

I used this for like 10 or more years, and then for some reason stopped. I think someone said it was too harsh. My skin did okay for about five years using other products, then as I got closer to menopause, I started breaking out badly again! I ordered this up, and a month later, my skin is soft and smooth, scars are fading, and there are no new breakouts. DON'T BE FOOLED! The imitation products (like ACNE FREE) are NOT the same quality. They are much harsher and burn. Proactiv does not burn at all. It just works.

Highly recommend this product. Not only my son used to have acne issues, but I started having acne problems in my later years. (Going through menopause) I am 55 years old and use it occasionally. It worked well on my son’s sensitive skin, who has red hair and fair complexion and I am a bit darker in skin color and I have black and grey hair 😊 We both have normal to oily skin. I understand everyone’s skin is different, but this really seemed to work out well for both of us! We started every day for a week. Tapered off to every other day, then once a week! Now, only when we need to apply for a new blemish. And we Watch what we eat and drink. That seems to work well with this regimen too! The toner and cleanser are great too! At your leisure! I bought this for my grandson on a subscribe and save, sending it every month. He liked it and it really helped. He ended up having to go to a dermatologist for more help but this is a good product and very helpful for at least 2 additional people I know. It is not overly expensive either and certainly less than a doctors visit and prescriptions unless you have to go that far to remedy acne.

I felt helpless to do anything about my teen daughter's acne because I'd never had any skin issues myself, and didn't know what to do. I always run back to Proactive once dealing with stubborn acne that won’t go away. Using it for three days started healing up now a week it’s gone. I started using on the 17 of Feb. And today is 23 of Feb. My face is all cleared up!!! Very much worth every penny

This appears as if it might have been on a shelf for a long time. It is supposed to be able to squirt out but as for the cleanser and the Repair Treatment lotion they are too thick to squirt out. The Toner is just fine. So even though the cleanser and the repair treatment lotions are too thick I believe they will be just fine to use!

I've been using Proactiv since 19 and I am a guy. I'm 28 now and it still works great. Here are some tips. - Use it every morning when you wake up before or after breakfast, and use it every night when you're about to go to bed. Don't miss either of them. - Give it 6 weeks of doing twice every day. If you miss even just one of those two, it will show. - Use water-based moisturizer after step 3, always. Irritated skin = acne. - DON'T touch your face, ever. If you want to pop some pimples, use q-tips. Just don't touch the ends. - Buy Proactiv's refining mask and use it every three nights. It will last 3+ months easily, it'll give you a break for one night from using the 3-step routine (4-step if you're using water-based moisturizer, and you should be) and it'll help to extend the amount of product you have. It's also just a great product. I also don't use the water-based moisturizer after using Proactiv's refining mask. However, if I needed to go back out, or I planned on doing something, I would. It would be necessary then. - DON'T make a ton of facial expressions until you have put on the water-based moisturizer. It will cause you to break out. - You may notice some white streaks or dry skin on your face, especially around your eyes and neckline, just use a wet hot washcloth and gently swipe against it. They will go away. - For those of you with oily skin like mine, don't use any facial cleansers or blot shots in the middle of the day. It will cause your skin to dry out even more, forcing your body to produce more, causing more breakouts. Instead just splash your face with warm water and gently pat dry it. Lifestyle changes. - Routinely get 7-9 hours of sleep a night. - I personally meditate for stress and anxiety. I swear by the mobile app Headspace (available for both iPhone and Android, $13 a month). It not only helps me immensely mentally and emotionally but also it helps to stop breakouts also. Stress = acne. It doesn't need to be meditation but find something that makes you calm, focused, and think clearly. - Drink enough water. "Enough" varies from person to person. Just find your right amount. - Exercise, preferably in the sun, and sweat. It definitely helps, especially for those of you, like me, who have really oily skin. - Wash your sheets every week. Not every other week, or every month, or every whenever. Actually wash them every week like clockwork. Just some final words. I know Proactiv is pretty expensive when compared to other acne products but it actually does work. I stopped using Proactiv a while ago to find more affordable options. I have tried Neutrogena facial washes followed by water-based moisturizers, Humane's Benzyl Peroxide along with their toner, and AcneFree 3-step routine, and all of them failed. Humane came the closest, especially with the toner, but it still didn't give me the clear skin I was looking for. I was going to try the acne pill, as it also has 5-stars rated by a lot of people but I'm not a big fan of taking pills. I also found out that they will send you another shipment of their product for free if you give them 5-stars (as one of their reviewers stated). Yes, it is moderately expensive. But having good self-esteem and confidence is something that is really worth the value. Being able to ask that person out, doing well in a job interview, just not having people stare at your acne instead of you when you're being rung out at the grocery store, etc. There are plenty of circumstances in our day-to-day lives where we need to present our best possible selves. I also have to mention that for those of you who are concerned with the cost, if you order from Proactiv's official website, the payments are split between 3-months. So I ordered a 90-day shipment from them and I pay only $20 a month. I ordered this 30-day shipment from Amazon because I went through the product somewhat quickly and while I haven't ran out yet, I just wanted to make sure that I had a small back supply just in case if I did to hold me over until my next shipment arrives.

Ordered the Proactiv 3-step treatment, 30-day set. That is the kit pictured. We used it before and it worked fine. Got sent the ProactivMD set instead. Sounds like it should still do the job, so going to try it out. But would have preferred if the seller could have sent the correct stuff. The low rating is more about the seller than the product.

This is my first review on Amazon, this product changed my life. I had acne for 10 years, it cleared up on 3 weeks! It’s crazy how good this is!
