Great results and great quality!
These are perfect, A great solution to keep a giant blue egret from hanging out near my koi pond! These have been up in my yard for two weeks now and still standing. Great quality. They look pleasant and spin perfectly in the wind. They came assembled which is great, just plug in the pole, stick it in ground and done. Very pleased! Oh and the big bird hasn’t been back since :)

Very Sturdy & Effective
Birds like to perch themselves on the top of my mailbox and crap all over the place. I did some research and decided to buy these spinners. I have had this same spinner on since last September, including all through the winter and it keeps on spinning. It's been through some heavy winds - 30-45mph and is still there, undamaged and working. The birds do not like this at all. I usually don't spend the time and write reviews but when I find something that works this great then I owe it to the manufacturers and of course potential buyers to let them know if an item works or not. This one definitely does. I secured this to the back of my mailbox post using one small plastic wire holders you can get at a hardware store - the ones people use to tack a wire in place and a small screw a little bit lower - see photos.

WEAR GLOVES BEFORE HANDLING!
I purchased these items recently and today put the tops of the pinwheels onto the sticks they came with. Simple enough task, right? Except at some point, the back of my finger must have brushed against them and I received an inch worth of tiny, near-invisible splinters (too many to count). I don't know what material these are made from, but seeing as children often play with pinwheels, they should be smooth without tiny bits that can get into your skin. Maybe there should be a warning label to handle these with gloves to avoid skin irritation, splinters, and potential infection. And I have no idea how many splinters are left, but they are NOT coming out easily. Expensive garbage. And per other reviews, they probably don't work that well or hold up very long.

Did the job, but you get what you pay for
It was pretty annoying that there was assembly involved with these, and the nubs on the bottom fall off and get lost, but we put these in our vegetable garden and tied some to the tomato posts at the top, and we did not have any issues with birds. We did have a rabbit hop right past it while it was spinning to eat my eggplant leaves, but it kept the birds away for sure. They look and feel cheap but they worked.

Not Quite Working for my Zucchini Patch
The pinwheels are very nice and have all survived the elements .... but ... as a bird repellent .... I'd have to say that its mostly a fail. I've put them all around my zucchini patch and birds are still getting to my zucchinis. They 'may' be deterring birds from flying down to the patch, but they land safely a foot or so away from the pinwheels and then walk to the patch. I've tried pushing the some of the pinwheels really close to the soil and they still come. This might be better suited for hanging veggies like beans, tomatoes or peppers, if they are not hanging too high above the pinwheel. I do enjoy watching them spin with the breeze though. Not sure if they'll survive for next yr since I see the metal ring where the pinwheel meets the staff is corroding.

Keeps Canadian geese away!
The building I work at is next to a bank with a pond. At the end of February/beginning of March, we are swarmed with Canadian geese. They poop on everything, and they get really aggressive once they nest. I work in a medical building, and it wouldn't be good if sedated patients had to square off against angry, aggressive geese. And the regulation covering these birds is extensive. They are federally protected and getting a nest moved involves a licensed DNR person and a lot of red tape (or a hit man, if you know any). So, I read some things, and these geese really don't like shiny pinwheels. It has something to do with their vision. Canadian geese like wide open spaces full of grass near water. This helps them keep a lookout for predators. I bought three boxes of these pinwheels. I stuck them at roughly 20-foot intervals in all of our mulched beds. I park at the bank with the pond. When I walk over to my building, there is a clear border of clean, unpooped on sidewalk. These things really work, so far. I haven't had to use guns or my car to deal with these monsters. I just put out these pinwheels and we are being left alone by the geese. It gets really gross, because there's a blackberry bush on our property and the poop goes from green to dark purple halfway through the summer. So, so far, so good!

Doesn't work
Did not work with geese. They just laughed and came in my yard anyway.

Not happy at all poor design. No instructions on assembly. Lasted a week outside. Was constantly checking on them during windy days and they don’t spin as they’re flimsy and keep spinning into the pole. Not worth the money spent.

I waited awhile before I wrote this review, just so I could be confident with my comments. In 2021 we had geese crap all over the dock, deck and grass area, I tried stakes with fluorescent line with attached ribbons, individual survey flags, animal decoys and nothing stopped the geese from crapping everywhere. May 2022, I put these bird blinders in the ground very close to the shore line about 6 feet apart and it worked IMMEDIATELY! We have not had one drop of geese crap on our dock, deck or grass since I put the bird blinders up almost 3 months ago! The blinders make a little noise when it’s really windy but I kind of like it, almost a soothing sound to me at least. Main thing is they work at keeping the geese away, I had 2 of the tips break but was fixable with a little electrical tape. They stay in the ground too, we have high winds on our lake and not one of the bird blinders have come loose. I’m hoping I can get 2 or 3 seasons out of these bird blinders and when they start falling apart I will definitely buy them again. In my opinion there worth every penny, you will not be disappointed.

These pinwheels did not work at all. The birds were eating the lawn alongside the pinwheels. Would definitely not recommend.

We love the bird community - but not always on our deck. These repellant's seem to be working. We measure success by bird droppings on our deck and they are definitely down.... Still birds all around - but they just seem to be steering clear of our large deck - which is what we were hoping for.

I only received the spinners in the box. Didn’t include the 15” poles as described in the description and photos.
