Very useful and secure
Excellent product! Very secure, super easy to install. Love that the bag clips off and you can take it to go with the shoulder strap. Highly recommend.

A great solution to carrying what you need for a long cycling day.
Great for long rides. I was tired of little bags all over the bike. This one is perfect for 75-150 mile rides. First time out it carried my tools, two jackets, extra gloves, food and snacks and lots of leftover room. If you are hoping to change into a suit after your bike ride this isn't the bag for you. If you are just going on a bike ride and want more than the bare essentials with you this is the bag and rack to get. I was worried the bag would rub on my rear end but it didn't. I couldn't feel the bag and rack at all while riding. If you are concerned about grams well then I doubt you would pick this. If you want to have room for everything you might need for a day ride, you will appreciate this setup. The rack mounted to the seatpost easily, the bag locks in, the whole arrangement didn't move or make noise during my ride. I did consider the bigger rack but turns out this one just works fine. No rubbing on my legs. It's as if it wasn't there at all until I needed it. So great to eat food that isn't warmed by being tucked in a jersey. This setup means you don't need a bulging jersey with stuff. Rated way cool and smart.

Nice bag, make sure you can swing your leg over the additional height!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like the design and rack the back snaps into. My flashing light mounted easily on back of bag. Make sure you have the height and flexibility to swing your leg over the bag to mount bike. I am 5/7'' and it is a stretch, but will help to keep me flexible! It does make it several inches higher. I purchased the small bag and it is too small for my athletic shoes. I commute to work on bike and use cycling shoes for the ride and need space for my work shoes. Nonetheless, it is still a good set up. shoes go in my backpack and lunch goes in rack bag. Build quality:sturdy bag. Easy install of rack.

Yeah, love this one, here is why...
This bag is so good I bought another for the wife's bike. The mounting bar is great and holds in place. Pay attention to the weight limits. Use some anti seize on the bolt thread before cranking down on the bolt, the bolt is a little rough. I have a feeling it could corrode. I will probably replace it with a better quality bolt. The carrier has holes in the back so if you want to mount a light, there is a bracket from Portland Design works that will fit, then the PDW light can snap into that bracket.. The bag has 4 pockets on the outside, 1 on each side and 1 on top and 1 smaller in the back. It has a top pocket that zippers up. There is an internal pocket on the zippered flap that holds the shoulder strap. You can fit a few smaller items in there as well. There is also an external bungee on top that could hold a sweatshirt or some other light weight t-shirt. There is a reflective strip on the back handle and a little loop that could hold an external rear light by clipping it on. The internal liner unzips but does not come out, not sure why, maybe to dry if it gets wet? The bag is formed and holds it's shape. The bottom is a molded plastic which is good. The hold down clips snap in place as they should on the carrier. Have not had a problem with it coming loose or coming off the carrier. Overall and excellent bag and large enough to hold daily use items. Food, extra water, I can put a 24oz Polar Bottle in there with room to spare for other items, shirts, ext. Shoes would not fit. I suppose that is a use for the external bungee.

Works well for commuting to work
I needed something I could carry to work to hold my work clothes but I was also concerned about something slowing me down. It's a long haul, 11 miles one way. Prior I had a large camel back and stuffed my work clothes in there. That setup was a bit restricting. The Ibera rack for me was a good solution. It took the weight off my body and I actually beat my best time to work several times over by a large margin. Was able to average about 18.2mph over 11 miles (a few hills in there). In the main storage you can fit a pair of slacks, a work shirt, a belt and some socks. Forget about packing shoes as well. I leave those at work anyways. I like how the underside of the carrier is a hard plastic. When, not if, your tire spirts all kind of road grime and some days mud, you can easily wipe it down. If you want to take it off you need to loosen one screw which is much easier than the pannier with multiple attachments. The small pocket in the back is sufficient for an emergency tool kit. The other small pockets are good for say, energy bars, a wallet, etc. There is some space at the top if you wanted to stuff something under the little bungie... anyways, a good buy for me.

Excellent quality item... VERY STURDY.
Excellent quality item... VERY STURDY.The mount is a little bit big/clunky and uses rubber strips to grip the seat post, but it locked down just fine on my bike. Wish it was waterproof too, but its a great carrier overall. I do wish the external side pockets were moved to the inside though.

I wanted to like it.
I tried this on a Cannondale synapse and it just did not work. It is heavier than I thought it would be and the weight is up high so it really messed with the feel of the bike. Also, even with a fair amount of seat post showing, it hit the back of my seat and was a bit of a pain to take on and off. I really wanted to like this and make it work bur after two trips commuting I am returning it. Looks like it is a standard rack and panniers for me, the weight needs to be kept lower for me or I will just stay with a backpack.
