Love the Chase
Prof. Kingsfield can never be replaced. The movie and then this series is what prompted me to go to Harvard law and abandon engineering. It's just a great series and with some theatrical leave, is a good watch for law school students (or for a President/Politician to learn the Constitution). The show teaches the reason the US is a nation of laws that must be followed even when inconvenient.

Waited for the last season(s) for years! At last!
I had almost given up on ever seeing the last handful of episodes in this series after searching the net year after year. I don't know why, but I got the urge to try to search one more time a few days ago and to my shock and delight, someone finally made the third year and the final season available and better still, not at some outlandish price as many media companies charge for old series releases. As far as my television watching experience is concerned (I'm 71) this was THE most intelligently written and entertaining series ever made for network television! Watching John Houseman as Professor Kingsfield putting Harvard Law students through their mental paces was akin to the kinds of physical paces my drill sergeants put me through and left me with a love/hate regard for them similar to that which Kingsfield's students (especially Hart) came across as feeling toward him. A truly wonderful viewing experience!

Good nostalgic series ...
... from decades past and my personal university era. Creative, diverse stories, individual character development, Professor Kingsfield made more "human" and personable (although a bit more in the extreme and unlikely in one episode where his car gets stuck in a snowstorm and he ends up in Hart's apartment). Quality of the episodes varies, depending on the original films acquired by Shout. Needs remastering. Still, worth viewing, but pricey.

Quality Television
For years I’ve always believed this to be one of the finest and most intelligently written/acted pieces of work to grace the airwaves. The crisp, sharp dialogue and the outstanding cast (particularly John Houseman) made my television viewing a true joy when it aired and now, thanks to this DVD set, I am able to watch it again and re-live those precious memories. The film that the series was based on was outstanding and having a series that was equally as endearing has made an indelible impression on me. And although set before the advent of our modern technological advancements, it still delivers the same punch. Thank you for releasing this. The memories are priceless!
