Lasts forever!
My husband and I first saw these in 1988 at the Philadelphia Home Show, 36 years ago! Service for 8 cost $1,000! My plates look brand new, after all these years. The plates are translucent and are dishwasher safe and can go from oven to table and also to microwave. We have moved many times in all these years and nothing was ever broken. They are as beautiful today as they were 36 years ago.Beautiful, lightweight and they are worth the money we paid 36 years ago.

Broken dinner plates
I love the dishes, but I ordered it twice, and the first order had 2 broken dinner plates, and the 2nd order had 1 broken dinner plate. The box looked really messed up

Half the dishes were delivered broken. No fragile warning on shipping box. The other half are very nice.
