Simple Install
I purchased the DNA Motoring 07-12 Dodge Nitro LED Black Smoked Third Brake Light to install on mt 2007 Nitro R/T.Pretty simple install.REMOVE the 2 (T25) Torx screwsunplug electrical plugpull off washer hoseNOTEremove nozzle-lift-gate washer (Mopar part # 68015003AA) There are snap plastic clips on the top and bottom that needs to be depressed to pop-out. The new replacement custom Third Brake Light Does NOT come with this (expensive) nozzle. I had no issue removing this original nozzle.Since I ordered the Black Smoked Lamp I did not want the nozzle to remain red so I sprayed it Semi-gloss black. However I then ran into an issue since this nozzle did not want to snap into the new lamp! I don't think I damaged the nozzle removing it and did not look broken or damaged. When I found out the cost of the original red nozzle I see why it was not included with the new custom lamp! It is however available from Amazon.I decided instead to just glue the now painted black nozzle by removing the gasket with a plastic glue (plastic to plastic). Worked for me.INSTALLre-hook up washer hosere-hook up electrical plugcheck that lamp worksre-install the Torx screws

Actually worked!
I wasn't sure this would work since it was so affordable but I gave it a gamble since the OEM part costed so much more. And it actually was easy to install, fit perfectly and works great!

Quick and easy install
Perfect fit and very easy swap. Looks great. Only real complaint is the rear washer nozzle you have to pop out of the old light and pop into the new one. The old one is still the factory red color so with the black light it looks a little odd. A little bit of paint and that problem is fixed.

Easy install but stopped working...
UPDATE: 9/13/23This replacement item Stopped working after only 4 months.The original lasted 16 years.This item arrived quick, installed easy and looks good. Less than 5 minutes start to finish.

Works great , perfect fit, Add a little clear silicone around the seal for extra protection... You wouldn’t want water dripping into the lift gate..my SUV is blacked out, so it’s a good match
