Sturdy brackets for our 40lb beast of a microwave
We have a large 1.6 cubic feet panasonic microwave (about 22" x 20" x 12") that weighs almost 40 lbs and these brackets are working perfectly to hold it up off the counter! It's been about 2 months so far and we use the microwave many times a day. There have been no issues, it's holding up great with no sagging or anything else.To solve the problem people have with the brackets being slippery, we simply stuck some clear cabinet bumper pads on the top of the brackets. They are nonslip and hold the heavy microwave right where we put it. No slipping at all - it hasn't moved at all being used probably hundreds of times already. Very quick, easy and simple solution. You do have to be aware of what the underside of your microwave looks like - ours has all sorts of obstacles that we had to avoid so we couldn't have them at equal distance from each side of the microwave. To compensate for one side being heavier than the other (it was pulling down the bracket more on the left side due to the little bit of extra weight on on that side), we simply put thicker bumpers underneath the heavier side to give it an extra lift so now it looks level. To solve our own problem of wanting to use this in a corner, we made some spacers out of scrap wood so we had a solid surface that was parallel to the back of the microwave to attach the brackets to (photo attached). It's a great solution to be able to keep the microwave in the corner where we're used to having it.I did a super budget friendly paint-and-hardware-only kitchen upgrade - I couldn't handle looking at our orange, red, green and flesh colored kitchen for another day, but we aren't ready for a real kitchen remodel yet - no replacing appliances was allowed. But then of course our microwave died and we had to get a new one to survive - which wound up being much bigger than our old one. This really makes the limited counter space feel more spacious and it's very easy to clean underneath and around the microwave now. Win/win.Overall these brackets are SUPER STURDY, well made and if it can hold our giant microwave I'm sure it can hold pretty much any microwave. And if you are installing them on a pre-existing wall and not on a corner installation will be much easier and simpler than what we had to do for our special corner mount (but just wanted to let people know that's possible to do too). We are very pleased with them and would recommend them. Hope this helps you make a more informed decision!

Increase your counter space and use these to lift your small appliances out of your workspace.
These worked as hoped to give us more counter space in a small kitchen area. They are suprisingly strong and worked well for our microwave and air fryer. The extendable features make it really adaptable and versatile for many appliances. Installation is pretty easy. I chose to space these to install into wall joints, so I added a shelf piece to size the support for varied appliance sizes. If you mount at exact dimensions for your specific appliance, you will not need a shelf piece.

Works as intended with modification but included mounting hardware is trash
The support brackets themselves are quite sturdy, made of solid steel that doesn't warp or bend in any way bit I had issues mounting the thing. My problem was the wall that I was mounting to. Not a single stud in the correct place which meant I would need to mount with the included drywall anchors. The anchors are cheap, don't work well, and ultimately I could never use them because they pushed back inside the wall while screwing into them. I took a break and went to the hardware store and picked up a box of heavy-duty hollow wall anchors (able to hold 70lbs each) and used those instead. These worked like a dream and I have no doubt that my microwave is secured (btw, my microwave is about 30lbs and is 1 cubic foot size). I also added a shelf to the bracket and drilled holes into the brackets and mounted the shelf to that for added stability and support. With just a bit of modification, this bracket worked very nicely.

Does the job
Needed something to hold our microwave in place due to just getting a new oven. This product does the job. Was not the easiest to install and the microwave does wobble when trying to use but it makes everything look cohesive. Worth the price just to have the microwave look seemless above my oven

Worst product I've ever purchased on Amazon in 15 years being an Amazon customer
Wow. So, where to begin? Well, the pictures tell the story. I received this product with literally both of the brackets looking like this. And I took the pictures AFTER I beat them senseless with a hammer to try and straighten them. If I had actually mounted these, my new toaster oven would have been sitting so badly slanted that it would have been unusable. On top of all of this, these brackets were impossible to put together - instead of drilling and tapping into the brackets so they could be put together with regular machine screws, they provide bolts and nuts. This would otherwise be fine if you had hands the size of a three year old, as it was physically impossible for me to hold the nut while threading the bolt into it in such a tiny space. The fact that a company could send out such trash is incredibly alarming. They either can't afford a quality control department, or their QC is so poor that they didn't catch this disaster before it got sent out. Either way, this was simply unacceptable. The quality of steel seemed adequate and the welds were perfect, it's simply just an unusable product due to how badly bent these brackets were. These brackets were built to serve one simple purpose, and they fail to do that. It's almost unbelievable.Stay far away unless you feel like rolling the dice and perhaps getting better quality than I did...or worse...
