I've been using this aluminum foil lid for my Nespresso pods daily, and it's genuinely transformed my coffee routine. I’ve tested different foil lids for Vertuo capsules, and these are by far my favorite. One of the biggest issues I’ve had with other brands is that the lids don’t stick well enough — they sometimes open during brewing, creating a mess and even filling the used capsule container with spilled coffee. These foils solve that problem. They are slightly raised above the edge of the capsule, which makes them adhere much better. Because of that, they stay firmly in place during brewing, with no leaks or disasters to worry about. Pros: • Excellent adhesion — they don’t come off during brewing. • Raised design makes them easier to apply and more secure. • Compatible and reliable with Nespresso VertuoLine machines. • Large package (400) is great value. Cons: • Slightly more expensive than some generic options, but the quality makes it worth it. • It takes a little practice the first time to place them perfectly centered. Overall, these are reliable and well-made foils that save me from the headaches I had with other brands. Highly recommended if you want a clean and hassle-free coffee experience.

I would give this item 3.5 stars. I drink a lot of coffee and I get cranky if I don't have coffee in the morning. When I got this Nespresso machine, I was blown away by the rich coffee it gives! I was directly buying the pods, spending a lot of $$ per month when I found this aluminum foil which enabled me to reuse the pods and save a lot of money. That being said, does it work? Yes, it works perfectly, most of the time. Sometimes, the lids don't stick well to the pods and that causes the lids to open when the Nespresso machine starts to run, creating a huge noise. When it does not work I couldn't find a way to fix it. At first, I thought its because I didn't clean the pod properly or I didn't dry it properly after washing it or I am putting too much or too little coffee powder in it. But when it doesn't work, none of the adjustments I made work. There is something wrong with the adhesiveness of some of the lids which causes it to "unstick" when used. Again, this is not on all lids, and I have used almost close to 200 lids now. Its very frustrating when this happens and this happened only in the latest batch that I got in Oct 2020. So quality control needs to improve. But overall, since this product worked most of the time, I am willing to give this product 3.5 stars, rounded to 4. I will buy this product one more time but if these quality mishaps happen again, I am not coming back.

Seriously worth the money! I had ran out of vertuo pods and didn't want to spend $1.50+ per drink. The math on these works to around $0.30 per drink, with coffee included. Honestly, it's kind of fun to use these. These do require you to have A SINGLE pod. Just remove the top foil with a razor blade, make sure it's all smooth with no jagged edges or holes in the aluminum from cutting, and rinse out. I've reused the same pod at least 20+ times with this kit. My only complaint is that you do end up with coffee grounds in your coffee. I've tried all grind and fill levels, and it's just inevitable. I personally don't care and they do settle to the bottom.

I love these lids. They are such an inexpensive alternative to buying coffee. It’s very simple to use. I just need to stick these lids on the pod and voila, you have a coffee pod.
