I deliver newspapers for a living, and as part of the job I am often backing into/out of driveways and executing tight turn-around maneuvers in the dark. Being able to see is "kinda" important. While the factory incandescent bulbs of my '99 Jeep Cherokee were good, I was searching for something better. Being that my vehicle is wired using the "CK Method," I needed to make sure any LED replacements were compatible with this wiring system. (LED bulbs that are incompatible will blow fuses immediately, so it's definitely something buyers need to be aware of.)These Auxito LED bulbs ARE compatible with both "Standard" and "CK" wiring, and are designed to eliminate the need to check proper polarity - in other words, these bulbs will work no matter which way you install them into your sockets, on the first try. It takes more circuit design know-how and electronic components to achieve this, so I appreciate the extra thought and production costs invested - Auxito could have taken the cheapest route to maximize profits, but they didn't.According to what I've been able to glean from the item description, these bulbs are not compatible with vehicles that use CANBUS. I don't have any vehicles that use CANBUS communications, so I cannot verify - however, there is a CANBUS-compatible version from Auxito; if you have a vehicle that uses CANBUS, I would highly suggest you choose that bulb instead. (Unsure if your vehicle uses CANBUS to determine if a bulb is out? You might want to consult a repair shop, preferably a dealer that sells your car's make because their Service department should know that.)I've had them installed in my Jeep for several months now, and the difference is almost mind-blowing! Bright, crisp "pure" white (not that bluish-tinted "cooler" color temperature) that illuminates everything behind me very well. I don't see any odd "hot" or "cold" spots in the light output, as is common with some other brands. I have seen no drop in total light output over time (LEDs get dimmer if they're being "pushed" too close to the "limit"), and believe me when I say my backup lights easily see 10x the use an average driver will subject them to.I have not installed these bulbs in a place where they see constant operation (parking lamp/turn signal or tail/brake) but I feel pretty confident in saying they'd be a great upgrade for those applications as well.I'm quite impressed with these bulbs, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for brighter illumination when reversing - or, if you're converting your car to all-LED for the aesthetic and want an amazing bulb for your reverse lights.In fact, I'm so impressed with these bulbs, I'm about to add another two-pack to my cart to replace incandescent reverse lights in my mother's '07 Grand Caravan, a vehicle that SERIOUSLY needs brighter reverse lights due to the factory window tint.

I installed these LEDs in my 2009 Mercedes CLK 350, and they worked flawlessly right out of the box as reverse lights. If you’ve ever upgraded bulbs on a Mercedes, you know how picky the CANBUS system can be, but these bulbs didn’t trip any errors or warning lights at all.The brightness is a huge improvement over stock, with a clean white light that gives the car a more modern look. Installation was quick and easy, and the build quality of the bulbs feels solid and durable. They've been running for a few weeks now with no flickering, dimming, or heat issues.If you own a CLK or any Mercedes from this era and are worried about compatibility or dashboard errors, don’t be, these bulbs are truly CANBUS-compatible and work perfectly. Got these Reverse LED bulbs for my girlfriend's 2013 Toyota Corolla. Recently installed a backup camera for her, and these LED bulbs illuminate way more than the regular bulbs. You can see the backup cam a lot better at night, and you can see whatever's behind you in the side mirrors and rearview mirror a lot better too. The lens on the front of bulb helps the light project outwards. They fit perfectly and match well with the other LED bulbs I've installed throughout her car. Can't go wrong with these.

As reverse lights on a 01 grand Cherokee it’s like having headlights on the rear. Very bright more than enough for reversing in dark areas.

AUXITO makes very good quality LED Bulbs. One needs to look at the details and chose the best option for it own specific application and that will make them the perfect replacement bulb.Replaced several incandescent Bulbs with LED Bulbs and was always impressed.These particular Bulbs do work as 3157 or 3156. They provide very good illumination towards the mirror(s) in the designated Lamp while at the same time the front Lens provides a focus beam. That makes them a very good option for Backup Lamps, or a DRL Lamp.Will review some more AUXITO LED Bulbs, as I purchased and installed a variety of types, on several vehicles.

The factory reverse bulbs on my 2009 Tacoma were horrible and I wanted an improvement. These are definitely brighter than the factory bulbs. They’re not going to light up the like road a set of Clearwater lights or anything like that, but they are definitely an improvement for not having to wire in anything special.

After trying other led for my reverse lights I didn't have high hopes with these, well I was wrong. This was a big upgrade for my 2019 camry. Now when I place car in reverse I can see what's behind me. Excellent

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bright white LEDs vs dim yellowish white incandescent bulbs. Honestly, don’t know why auto manufacturers just don’t put LEDs in all their cars considering how cheap they are. Auxito has never let me down, and when they do, Auxito makes it right all the time and fast!
