...And 2 more uses
These patches are the most economical I've found and work just as well as any others. That's a good thing, because I'm using them up fairly quickly between me, myself, and the dog. Yes, it absorbs the material from my occasional cystic acne; I see a noticeable improvement in four hours although overnight use is better. My summer skin bane, though, is Asian tiger mosquitoes. Boy, am I allergic to them! I just discovered, though, that if I slap one of these patches on the bite when it begins to itch, it begins to draw the mosquito saliva and GREATLY reduces my allergic response. Finally, our little rescue pup has a zillion skin problems, and one of them is her own version of acne. She came to us covered in cysts and still develops one from time to time. The vets have told me that they or I can express the gunk, but I've found that using these patches can be kinder. I have to clip back the hair to get these patches to stick for awhile, but they do help reduce and eventually can eliminate the lumps. Now, I haven't and won't use them anywhere she could lick or ingest them, but I've used them on her back and the back of her head, and she ignores them and seems to feel real relief. She has no interest in them if they fall off, but the patches usually stick well enough that I'm picking them out of her fur. Needless to say, I'm stocking up on patches for the summer!

Good product for acne
These patches are great for acne, clears them in one night. It works on pimples too but might need to change the patches 2-3 times before it fully removes the pimple.I like the assortment of different sizes, but the smallest size is too small, its not much usable because mostly acne are bigger than that size, so I have to overlap multiple small patches for it to stay on.Overall great product and actually works.

really work, virtually invisible
These work great on male clients and have received positive feedback.Have used on men with suportus hydrantis- a rare abscessing skin condition. They prevent the absecces from becoming deep and infected if used promptly.Client can wear to work all day and overnight; the bandages are barely noticeable.Only issue is to be careful when applying. Bandages tend to easily fold on edges. Be certain to apply firm pressure to bandage when placing to skin surface.I would recommend stretching skin and making sure skin is completely dry.I used on 85 year old man with fragile skin, He was hesitant at first but after convincing and trying he had no issues or reactions. He was very concerned the bandages may tear his skin but was amazed how gentle the adhesive is to skin and loved that the bandage is barely noticeable. I recommend doing normal facial routine and cleansing area well. After skin is completely dry, stretch skin and apply bandage. Upon removal the abscess will have begun to dry up and disappear. I did try to use on a cut like a regular hydrocolloidal bandage but was not successful and had to resort to buying the more industrial hydrocolliodal pharmaceutical brand. These are primarily for facial area, neck and can also use on small areas of back area but would not recommend on a cut that needs a stronger adhesive. That is why I rated 3 stars on adhesive. For the money, this is the best value I have found thus far. I am repeat purchaser. This product is a keeper!!

Great
Hydrocolloidal patches are the way to go for sure in treating annoying acne. Squeezing them to get out the puss hurts and leave marks. Leaving them alone hurts and takes longer to heal. These patches draw out the puss without trauma to the skin making them heal quicker with the least possible scarring. Great. So which brand? After reading many reviews at different price points, it seemed the less expensive ones performed as well or better than the most expensive. With a bad breakout, you could have a lot invested on your face in one evening, so cheap was the way to go, was my thought. I tried three economical brands that had good reviews.1. Avarelle Acne Cover Patch - Amazon's Choice - #12 14mm; #16 12mm; #12 10mm patches - only 40 patches - about 21 cents each. These were the stickiest and thinnest and offered a larger 14mm size. Though they were slightly less noticeable than the thicker ones, they were still noticeable. So, unless you were shopping as a Walmart-ian, I wouldn't recommend them out in public. They advertise cica, tea tree and calendula oil as well as hydrocolloid technology but, I felt, they were less effective than the other two brands.2. Poppy Acne Cover Patches - #36 12mm; #72 10mm (approximately) for a total of 108 patches at about 11 cents apiece. Content just lists hydrocolloid. These were thicker, less sticky but, I thought they sucked out more over a night's time than the Avarelle brand. Maybe the thicker profile meant more product = more effective. They advertised a $15 amazon gift card for a 5 star review within the package so that might explain all the 5 star reviews you see.3. Jolvka Acne Pimple Patch - #36 12mm; #36 10mm; #36 8mm; for a total of 96 patches at about 9 cents each. They also offer a 120 patch size for less. These were about as thick and sticky and worked about the same as the Poppyo brand. They have tea tree oil in them but I didn't notice that they were any more effective. A third of the dots were a smaller size than the first two brands but were useful enough for me.For the thicker brands, wipe off any lotion or whatnot to make the skin dry and receptive and I think that they will stick well for you overnight. So not rocket science. Get some if you have acne, you should be happy with them. I have reordered the Jolvka brand twice.
