A deeply satisfying masterclass in origami folding and a great “fidget” all in one.
What this puzzle set is, really, is a masterclass in advanced origami folding techniques. It’s a bit like learning language organically from our mothers, rather than learning a “foreign” language via formal classes. Folding these puzzles requires trial and error, but the pictures you are folding provide their own, built-in guide. Gradually, as the difficulty of the puzzles increases, you will learn how to do more complex folds, without any specific written instructions. If you do other kinds of origami, you might want to save your puzzles in an envelope, because you will then have a reference book of sorts, for these complex folds. If you really love colors, pictures, geometric patterns, and puzzles, you may find these deeply satisfying. If you need a fidget item to get through boring classes or meetings, you may find these helpful, because you can easily put them down and take them up again. They occupy one part of your mind while leaving others available. They are also great for car and plane trips because they take up very little space and can occupy you for quite a while -- 100 puzzles in this little booklet, not all of which can be done in 5 minutes (at least by me).

Great Puzzle
This is a great little logic game (little in size, not challenge difficulty). I enjoy origami and have played similar puzzles including Manifold by Brainwright, Color Fold by ThinkFun, and Fold by Fat Brain Toys. This game is very very similar to Manifold. I have not solved Challenge 100 in Manifold (or the 10 challenges prior), but I did solve Challenge 100 in Foldology (but I skipped to Challenge 100 from 31). My assessment is that Foldology is easier, but better quality, and more satisfying, than Manifold. The picture sections that you are tasked with connecting make the objective super clear, and these pictures are what make the puzzle easier, and more satisfying, than Manifold. I think it makes the puzzle more accessible to a wider audience. My dad once fiddled with Manifold, and though he seemed to generally understand what to do, I think he would have enjoyed connecting the images in Foldology more. The 4 inch squares are smaller than the average Origami paper (6 inches), but this makes is great for portability. You don't really need a flat surface for folding or making the creases, and can fiddle with the puzzles while you're on the couch, in the car, etc.The paper quality holds up well for the amount of folding required. In playing Challenge 100, I did start to see holes the size of a needle point appear in the center, but this did not impede my ability to finish solving the puzzle. This contrasts with Manifold, where much larger tears appeared as I struggled to solve the final challenges. With 100 challenges, this has a great play value for the price, and would make a unique gift for origami fans, or anyone who would enjoy mentally stimulating activity, and/or some practice with manual dexterity.

Keeps the kids busy
This is great to have on hand while waiting for food at a restaurant. After the kids are finished coloring the kids menu, this will keep them entertained while waiting for their order. Fun for adults, too! The book of 100 pages is small enough to fit in your bag.

Great fun!
My family took this on a trip recently, and it was a big hit! It was perfect for screen free time on the airplane- there is not much room to do anything on a plane these days, but you can fold down your tray and fold away. The designs were fun and interesting, and sometimes if we were stumped we would trade sheets back and forth. Some reviews comment that the package is small and doesn't look like much, but it really delivers- it is going to provide hours and hours of fold time, plus it is light weight and easy to take on a trip.If a picture was really difficult, sometimes we would leave it for a day, come back to it, and have it solved in just a few minutes. We thought it was great fun and could be a unique gift for people who like a challenge. Would definitely buy again!

Great product, not so great delivery/packaging
This is a great off-screen thing for kids to do. I bought it for the early-finishers in my class and they like it a lot. Each puzzle is short and quick, no hussle. However the booklet came in wrapped in plastic and still somehow got wet inside, so some of the pages are stained and the feel and texture is different on the side that got wet and dried later.I would buy it again, and hope for a less wet delivery.
