Magnetic Car Phone Mount, Penom Cell Phone Holder for Car, Universal Magnetic Phone Car Mount for Most Smart Phone

Penom's phone holder is mostly metal, feels solid and looks about as clean and unobtrusive as possible. The holder quickly clamps to the vehicle's vent slats using jaws with a strong spring and rubber pads that both increase stability and protect the vent. The arrangement is significantly more stable than the rubber cone wedge design this unit replaced. My iPhone case has an inbuilt kickstand/magnet mount. Penom's magnet is easily strong enough to hold the phone and sits behind a rubber face that helps protect and stabilize the contact point. A ball socket allows fine adjustment of the viewing angle. Best of all, there's no more wrestling with spring loaded side clamps, it's a breeze to install, rotate and remove the phone at any time with one just one hand.

Works great so far. Vent clip is strong- I was a little worried as my last one grabbed the vent from behind whereas this one just clamps on but the grip is solid. I can’t pull it off at all without pressing the button. The rotation of the mount is firm and stays put. The magnet is super slim and although I put it on the outside of my case, it would easily have fit inside the case. Magnet is strong.

I loved the rose gold color. It's a little challenging the first time you install it to make sure you slide it back on the vent. Also, if your vent slats are vertical, this product will not work. It is too heavy and will slide down. (The reason I only gave it 4 stars.) Thankfully, I also a vent with horizontal slats so I was able to use it. The magnet is really strong. I have to be careful to hold the base in place while removing the phone. I would purchase this product again.

The suction power is very poor. It wasn’t able to hold my phone while driving, I also have to sit and adjust the phone to try and help it match up perfectly to the magnet and it still falls off once the car moves. The biggest issue would be that when it’s plugged into my car vent, my phone gets extremely hot and has to go on cool down mode even if the vents are off/closed. I would not advise anyone to purchase this device because it was not strong enough to hold the IPhone 11Pro that I have.

Honestly, almost every negative comment I have about this product is from my own fault. This mount is very easy to install in the vent, HOWEVER, in the month I used it it came off my vent twice- once when I grabbed my phone and it took the mount off as well, and another time I turned a corner and it flew right off with my phone still attached.The suction power is great, my phone never once fell off or even came close to.The only reason I stopped using this is because I didn’t think about my wireless charging and didn’t want to take my case off every night. Getting the magnet and sticker off was a HASSLE. In the end, I used dental floss to loosen it enough to get a metal nail file in and wrench it off and an alcohol pad to remove the sticker residue pictured. BUT, i think thats a testament to how secure the adhesion is. All in all, it’s my fault this product didn’t work out for me but I would still recommend it!

I drive a Nissan Armada and the car mount attaches nicely to the air vents. The magnets are great and it all works really well. Color is great.CON: Beware where you place the magnet in your phone case for wireless charging. I have not been able to put the magnet in the middle of the back of the phone case due to my wireless charging (iPhone XR). Even with the magnet being at the top or bottom of the phone case, I've had no issues with the car mount.

Works almost too good. I found that the magnetic mount on my phone vs the vent mount was extremely strong so much so that when I removed my phone many times the entire mount would dislodge as well causing me to have to readjust or remount the base each time. I no longer use this particular item, I selected to purchase the magnetic CD mount instead and haven't had that issue or any more.

I've never owned a car phone mount so I have nothing to compare this to but from what I've experienced so far this mount is perfect. I don't have one negative thing to say about it. I got the rose gold and the color is beautiful. It is very sturdy and the suction is way better than expected. I have a Samsung galaxy s20 which is rather large and I have a double case on my phone so I thought the weight would be too much but it is not! This product surpassed my expectations. I would recommend!

Ça marche quand même bien! Mais mon cell à tombé (iPhone 11 Pro) , mais il ne l’a pas refait à date , je conseille quand même !Mais je pense qu’il ne faut pas un cell trop lourd pour 40$ C’est cher pour le produit!
