Very good color and quality

I LOVE this color-not as dark as the shade looks but the perfect shade of a deep rich pinky purple.I also love how moisturizing this is, will definitely buy more colors!

I received a sample of the Elizabeth Arden Gelato Plush Up Lipstick in the Black Cherry color to try. This was the first time trying an Elizabeth Arden lipstick. I typically do not spend alot on lipstick, with the highest price I've ever spent probably being around $8-10. I know people don't typically talk about the packaging, but I have to because I had a heck of a time trying to open this! It was like a puzzle that really needs to come with instructions in the box on how to open it. Very frustrating for someone who is new to their product line! I ended up looking online on how to open it!Once you figure out how to open it, it's easy. The case has the Elizabeth Arden logo on it. Place your thumb on top of the logo, then slide forward. The lipstick comes out of the outer case upside down.The lipstick is thinner & seems like a smaller lipstick than others, but goes on creamy & does a nice job of covering. I found the black cherry color looks darker in person than it does in the description. The description makes it look like a deep mauve. They say it is supposed to plump your lips, however I didn't notice a difference? Unfortunately, the color was too dark for me, but I didn't deduct from the rating for that. I've attached a photo so you can see the color & the size to determine if this is the right shade for you.

Love this color, so trendy for the season. Black cherry would look great on all skin colors. Goes on smoothly, stays on well (needs to be reapplied after eating and drinking, otherwise it fades unevenly). Five stars.
