This box is a nicely made reasonable solution in that it prevents people gaining access to our cars while the cars are in the driveway (we tested it) but it has two main issues:1. It will not hold all the large keys we get with our cars (we have 2 cars, so there are 4 key,s 2 of which are the modern keys that allow you to do more than unlock the car).2. My wife finds it very difficult to undo the latch to gain entry. It is very stiff and the design has nowhere easy to use your fingers to open the latch. As a result she tends not to use the box which makes the point of the box rather moot.

Short version: great purchase.My car is parked right outside my apartment. I usually leave my keys (including my keyless entry fob) on my desk, not more than 30-40 feet from my car, which I've read would make it possible for a thief to steal the signal from the fob. I just leased a new car and decided it was time to take preventative measures. I didn't want a pouch or a bag for my keys, so I ordered this box. It works beautifully. I took the box (with fob inside) outside and held it inches from my car. The keyless entry did not work. I then got inside the car, put the fob back in the box and tried to start the car. No dice. Signal completely blocked.

I have to say I was very sceptical about buying this as I was unsure if it would work. I have a top of the range Audi and am delighted to say that not only is the box very stylish and a high quality product but worked very well. I put my car key in the box and tried to start the car whilst sitting inside and my car could not detect a key. I tried the same whilst outside and again it totally blocked the signal. There is no chance a of a relay device being able to clone my key whilst the key is in my box in the house.

Was a little bit hesitant to buy this as some reviewers mentioned it was either too big or too small - the Goldilocks effect in action? Happily I found the box to be about right; big enough to hold four of five sets of keys or a few mobile phones, as long as they're not "phablets".Yes, it does block WiFi signals.The metal latch was a bit sticky to get open but this isn't really a problem.

Nice looking box which doesn't look out of place on the shelf. Dont know how effective its but we still have the cars so if anyone has tried it must work!

Purchased after a neighbour had his car stolen after his key got scanned. Nicely made - a little stiff to open and close but I guess it needs to be a tight fit to work correctly. Room for several sets of keys. Recommended.

The box was larger than what I thought, however we now keep four sets of keyless fobs in the box with ease. I tested the box and it worked perfectly blocking the signal . The box is well made and looks quite smart, so overall well worth its cost
