Works Perfectly, Definitely Saves My Sanity
Bought this for my desk (which my daughter is working from at the moment with the whole school/COVID/tele-learning thing that is happening for us). There are a number of devices plugged into it (a selfie light to use for being on camera for school and work, a laptop cooling pad for a 17" laptop, a spare USB Micro Cable (for charging wireless ear buds when needed), and a spare USB C Cable (for charging phones when needed). It sits out of the way, on the back end of the computer desk. Everything plugged in nice and confidently. I did notice that when everything is up and running and in use, the phone gives me a message that the charging is slow. It still charges, but fast charging is not available. I overlook this, not a huge deal as it still charges and is not my primary means to charge my phone, only need to the phone on a tripod during meetings or conferences. The set up is dead easy. My outlet is pretty close (something like 3 feet away) so there were no issues with getting it plugged in. The workmanship of this thing is very, very good. Very durable and the clamp is very strong and durable as well. It opens up pretty wide, so there were absolutely no issues with me getting this thing in the right place. Overall, very, very happy with this, and glad I bought it. It is definitely taking care of a lot of problems at the moment and I will without a doubt be purchasing another once we get a few more options for the kids to have their own workstations.

A Great Hub Attached To The Underside Of A Shelf
I have a 24” monitor with a micro-edge display on 3 sides where there’s no bezel to mount this on, and I wasn’t going to clamp it against the screen. There is a ¾” high frame along the bottom side of the screen, but the back of the monitor behind this area is convex, and the clamp can’t be mounted to an area where the back of the monitor is rounded. I purchased this because I could mount it directly in front of me, so I didn’t want to clamp it to the edge of the desk after I discovered it couldn’t be attached to my monitor. So I clamped it to a 3.25” x .4” x .5” piece of wood that I screwed to the underside of a shelf that’s located right above the top of the monitor. I’m glad I couldn’t attach it to my monitor because this turned out to be a much better option. The ports on this hub are snug, and if it was mounted to my monitor, I know I’d have to hold the monitor steady to prevent it from moving every time I attached and removed devices from the hub. I’d also be concerned about damaging my expensive ultra-thin monitor because it takes a fair amount of force to insert and remove devices from these snug ports. By clamping it to a piece of wood that I screwed to the underside of the shelf, it’s firmly mounted, it doesn’t budge, it’s directly in front of me, I only need one hand to plug devices into the ports and pull them out, and I don’t have to be careful or worry about the force being placed on my little block of wood. The entire hub is housed in metal, and it appears solid and well made. I purchased this 15 months ago and thus far it has performed flawlessly.

Super handy!
I just got a height adjustable standing desk, but my PC sits on the floor and doesn't raise up or down with the desk. Having just ONE cord having to reach the CPU instead of multiples is so handy, and this clips onto the back of my desk and is mostly out of sight. The adjustable screw for clamping to a desktop is handy, and it's worth noting that the rubber grip at the end of the screw does unscrew from the screw itself, so be careful while adjusting as it may fall off. It's so easy to put back on, it's not an issue for me. In fact, I like that it's removable in case I wanted a little extra room to clamp to a thicker surface. The only con is the USB cord it came with is pretty short for my use. It's maybe 2 feet or so? maybe less? I had a USB extender cable though, so it was no big deal. I think if your CPU sat on the desk, or your desk doesn't raise/lower, the length of cord this came with might be fine. Overall 5 stars because it looks great, everything works fine that's plugged into it, and it was a cinch to install.

Pretty good, unless you have an iMac
Seems like a pretty nice little unit, but it's not going to go on an imac. The sloped sides work poorly with the clamp, and in the case of an imac pro, it can't even tighten enough to get a grip. Still working on a suitable solution to mod it to work (adding spacers, etc) but beyond a certain point it just gets hacky. That said, definitely works well on the monitor I use with my laptop, and the format is a decent way to add ports to a table. Dinged it for a point because the add copy sure LOOKS like it's supposed to be iMac friendly, but otherwise it's pretty solid.

What an excellent idea! The clamp made a huge difference for me!
I've had too many problems from USB hubs losing connection to the computer, causing big headaches with file corruption. When I saw this hub I decided it was worth a try. The problem with the other hubs is that they tend to flop around. When anything wiggles the USB cord the connection is broken momentarily, but that's enough to cause problems. This hub is different in that it clamps onto something, in my case a table top. This makes wiggling cable failures a thing of the past! Since starting to use this hub I have had almost no problems with lost connections between the computer and the peripherals plugged into the hub. I'm REALLY glad I got this USB hub! It has cured almost all of the problems I've been running into! 5 stars!

Was the perfect match for my desk.
This is a really nice USB3 hub. All aluminum case with a chrome machine screw on the back with a rubber foot. I thought that when I purchased this that it would be big enough to fit on the frame of my "solar desk" but it was just a mill too small. But thankfully, the stopper on the machine screw unscrews from the machine screw and with that stop removed, gave me another 1/4" of much need space to mount it onto my desk. And since the frame of the panel is aluminum, it matches perfectly. Of course, I would not do this if I was concerned with marring the surface of what I'm mounting it too but the bottom of the frame handled it with no problem. It sits nice and tight and allows me to unplug one of my game controllers for a few of my older games that won't allow me to have them both present without throwing a fit. It has a nice low level blue led to show it's active and is hardly noticeable. The male to male usb cord is around 3 feet and was perfect for my needs, but would have been nice to have a bit longer for some other folks needs. The usb slot for the cord is on the bottom of the hub and allows you to have a nice clean look with only your stuff plugged in on the visible side. Over all, a great purchase and well worth the money. Oh, and yes, my desk is actually a solar panel. I work at a solar outfit and this panel was a dud with no power output and was destined for the garbage heap. So I rescued it and re-purposed it into a awesome computer desk.

Love it! I just purchased a third one
I originally bought this item to mount on a portable adjustable desk I made at home for my laptop. I ended up removing it from that desk and taking it to work because I needed more USB ports at work and ordered a second one. The second one ended up on my desktop desk because I was tired of reaching behind my computer to plug and unplug items and I could mount it in a more convenient location on that desk. It is concealed under the desk in an easy to reach location along the lower desk support. I just ordered a third one to mount to my portable laptop desk. These are great because mounting them means they don't slide around or hang off the side of your computer like hubs that cannot be mounted. The hub sliding off the desk because of extra weight from having several devices plugged in is no longer an issue. Accidently unplugging the whole port because you were too far away with a device is also no longer a problem. The clamping mount design is nice because it provides stability, but also doesn't require drilling any holes and can be easily moved to a different location as many times as you want. If you don't like where you originally decided to put it, you can just loosen the screw and move it somewhere else. Just one little heads up for anyone thinking of buying this item: The rubber stopper easily unscrews from the end of the mounting screw and can fall off when attempting to move the hub to a new location. I didn't like the initial place I had it mounted on my desk at work and when I decided to move it to a different spot, that rubber stopper unscrewed first and fell off when I was removing the hub falling onto the floor and rolling under the shelf at the bottom of my desk. It took a while to find it and get it back out from under there. At home, the stopper also fell off first and rolled across the floor when I was moving the hub. It is easy to put back on once you find it, but if you plan on mounting the hub in a tight space, be aware if you ever plan to move it, the rubber stopper could fall into a gap that might be a pain to access.

Robust & well built powered USB hub - I bought 3!
These are such great little USB 3 hubs, I have bought 3 of them. Their data throughput speed is among the best of my 6 USB 3 hubs. I attach them to the side of my computer shelf which gives them a small footprint, helps keep my cables organized and they’re not sliding around my desk. They are designed to use external power (which is always better for the computer), but can also be used in a stand alone manner. They have a solid, well built feel that I appreciate. I hope this company will make a future version with all USB-C connectors that uses the USB 3.2 standard and is on par with the robust quality of these. I would definitely buy several of them!
