Salomon Forces Quest 4D GTX 2 EN Tactical Shoes

The Quest 4D GTX 2 EN Tactical boot are a very rugged boot, fit like a glove, a little on the heavy side but need to be to provide the superior angle support, which is great for heavy load carrying over rough terrain. Unique lace locking at the turn of the ankle help keep the boots secure. I'll be buying another pair if these ever wear out.

These boots I have been wearing for years now. I have a pair I bought in 2017 that I wear daily to work and they are still holding up. I bought a new pair for when the old ones die eventually. They're not as heavy as you would expect, they fit extremely well. Once you break them in they form to your foot. Its like stepping into a mold of your feet. I prefer the high boots like these because it has saved me from rolling my ankle many times over the years. I've never had a better shoe. Can't sing enough praise. Bought my husband some and he loves them too. The price might scare some people away, but they are so long lasting i think the price is totally worth it.

I’m a police officer in south Texas, it gets hot, and when it rains it pours. I sometimes work 16hr shifts so comfortable performance footwear is a must. These boots are comfortable even after 16 hours. They are waterproof in standing water, and they really don’t get that hot. They take a few days to break in but once they do you barely notice they’re there. Very good ankle support without feeling restrictive. They’re not running shoes but you can run in them, for boots they’re a respectable weight. And yes, If your department requires boots to be polishable like mine does, you can polish them to a nice shine! Without polish they’re a non-reflective matte black.

Durable, Great traction, and comfortable, great for all weathers, especially winters if you double up on socks *EDIT: it’s been 5 years since I bought these. I have no complaints! Still durable and high quality ever since the first time I broke them in*

The boots are well constructed. So far, they have held up to miles and miles of hiking in the turkey woods, crossing streams and mucky swamp. All told during and after turkey season, I have put about 150 miles on them. They are very comfortable and never gave me blisters. My only complaint is the laces suck. They are slick and constantly come untied. I have to stop and retire them 3-4 times during a 10 mile hike. I am switching them out for some strong 550.

I spent a few days putting on these shoes and tested them, and the overall feeling was very wrapped. The sole is relatively firm, and the foot can be well protected against various terrains (except for smooth tiles with water, which will be slippery). Waterproof is completely fine, the warmth is good, slightly heavy, overall recommended.

These are super fantastic boots. I've broken them in and they're going strong. Can't say for sure long term yet. I will say this; they're kind of heavy. I'm a skinnier guy, but in good shape. Still, I'm noticing knee tendinitis starting because of the weight. I can also say with 100% certainty that they are heavier than the previous version...which I also have. Great boots overall.

Amazing boots. Took two or three days to break in and since then these have become my new duty boots. They are very comfortable. I can wear them all day no problem. Very breathable as well, paired with a good pair of socks my feet stay warm and dry. Water resistance is also great. I bought these specifically for winter and walking through snow, and these boots perform flawlessly. Traction is excellent in snow as well.

Passform extrem gut, Aber nähte und andere Stellen, wo geklebt wurde.. sieht man leider Risse und kleine Öffnungen, die in nem jahr zum problem werden können. Perfekt, damit Schmutzwasser/ Regen den Schuh auflösen können.
