Metra 99-7413 Nissan Altima 1993-2001 Installation Dash Kit for 2-Shaft to DIN Radios

I have a 1994 Altima and there were two kits that are supposed to work for the car. I ordered the other kit first but it didn't work out. I was frustrated so I waited until I could figure out why. My wife uses the car to commute to work. When she realized that the radio wasn't in there yet, she was ready to divorce me. She said I better get my act together and figure this out. Well a couple days went by and I still hasn't finished it because of other things getting in the way. I finally found this kit and ordered it. It took me but another few minutes to get everything to work and back together. My wife was packing then she saw the radio was in the car. She couldn't be happier and I continue to spend my hardworking wife's money!

Fit my 2000 Nissan Altima GLE perfectly as it said it would. All the parts were accounted for. And it houses my Alpine iDA-X305S Digital Media Receiver like a champ. The one and ONLY draw back is there is no pocket under it. No big deal for me as I routed my ipod cable to my glove box anyway.

This product is a good value at the price and easy to install. But it doesn't have the cabinet, the space under the car stereo for storage purpose. If you don't care about that cabinet, this is a good car radio housing case to buy. Otherwise, go find another more expensive one.

Fits my 1997 Nissan Altima took me 10 min to install

The plastic breaks too easily, the piece that broke off holds it in the dash. The package was missing all of the screws listed on the inventory. It did not fit well, the mounts are slots and too narrowly spaced so the screws just barely hold it in and it sits into the dash about half an inch too deep. I will shop for a different one and replace it as soon as I can.
