Blackberry Curve 9330 OEM Black Standard Back Cover Battery Door

One of the small latch pieces on the back cover of my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 broke. It happens.The phone worked, but before the piece got loose in the innards of the BlackBerry, I took the cover and the small broken piece and went to see if I could locate a replacement. Being here in New York City for the time being, and with its metropolitan population of 19 million and the reported 800 languages spoken here, that didn't seem to be too difficult a task... right?Not quite.I decided to ask a street vendor whose table looked like he was stocking about 2,437 cell phone accessories if he knew where I could find a new back cover. He took my BlackBerry, looked at it and proceeded to offer me a deal on a very  "blingy" BlackBerry Diamante protector , explaining that it would hold my cover in place so that it wouldn't fall off. It wasn't what I had asked for and wasn't my style, so I passed on it.The next stop was at a very large national cell phone provider's retail store, figuring that they could "hear me now" and come up with the right part. But I had to take a number from the receptionist and get an appointment to talk to an Authorized Service Representative, as they were so busy. Decided to pass, remembering how they couldn't hear me some years ago when I complained about having so many dropped calls.I moved on with my quest.Within minutes I found the next large national cell phone provider, and they weren't busy at all. It was an interesting exercise, as the sales rep looked at it, fiddled with it, and then called the service rep to the front. They both examined it, asking me a number of questions, such as: "Why did you buy it from {XXXXXX- my provider} when our plans are better?"I explained that I had a contract on my phone, as do many of us, but that didn't seem to stop this dynamic duo, who wanted to extol the virtues of their "exclusive" 4G phone and how it blows past the competition. The sales rep said, "Haven't you seen our ad, with the hot girl on the motorcycle?"The only way to shut him up was to tell him that I didn't have time to read his 8-page brochure explaining about his data plan (one that reduces speeds as one ends the current billing cycle), and that their TV as with the "hot girl on the motorcycle" was fine, but I just needed a battery cover.It went on for about fifteen minutes this way, and I was getting exasperated. All I wanted was the back cover, and they were trying to sell me on switching my plan to theirs, why my phone was "outdated" (though they were selling the same BlackBerry 9300 series) and that their new Brand-X 4G smartphone was oh-so-much-better.I asked again if they could get me a replacement cover. They explained that it would have to be special ordered, and that it would take two or three days... unless I wanted to pay about $8.00 to have it expedited. When I asked what it would cost, the service rep said, "About fifteen or twenty bucks." He then said that I would have to leave my phone with them so that they could "make sure that it fit" referring to the back cover.I thanked them and left with my phone.That evening, I decided to do a quick search here on Amazon, and found the  Blackberry 9330 Black Battery Door Battery Cover , and the product description noted that it was a brand new OEM black battery door. It was also eligible for free shipping with Amazon Prime.I ordered it, along with a  OEM Blackberry Curve 3G 9330 Standard C-S2 Battery  and received the cover in two days... with no expedited delivery, having someone "make sure that it fit" or any other malarkey, and for a far lower cost than the national cell phone provider's retail store could offer.This arrived exactly as described, and perfectly matched the original on my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330. Kudos to Amazon and its vendors here for providing such fast service with the exact product at the right price... with no bling, no "Can you hear me?" and no 4G sales pitch.

Not what I expected. Didn't have same texture and lacked the tabs that hold the back place in place correctly.

my back cover was lost, so i bought this one, the back cover, is a great replacement, fits really good and looks decent.

Doesn't pay for entire postage ended up paying $2 more when item arrived not enough postage paid I'm sure this was deliberate to make more money. For a battery door!!!!

I have a Blackberry Curve 8530, the battery cover that comes with the phone is slippery as snot. This cover fits my model, has a textured rubber like soft touch coating, and gives a ton more purchase on the phone. I can use it now without a bulky silicone skin. Bonus.

I lost my Bleckberry back after reseating its bettery in a dark night during a picnick -The product arrived in the mail and fitted perfectly - also a great deal compare to the AT&T prices....

It didn't fit my BlackBerry. Thought "standard" meant it would fit my 9315, too. Oh well, I am not out that much because it's not worth the added expense to mail it back for refund. My fault to "assume" & not Amazon's fault.
