OCPTY Ignition Distributor w/Cap Rotor JH157 5D1004 30102P54006 Compatible for Honda for Civic 1992-2000

I have a 1998 Honda Civic EX. It started skipping and was getting bad fuel mileage. I bought this new distributor cap with the rotor hoping that it would fix the issue. Put it on and it works great. No more skipping and my fuel mileage has improved. Hasn't had a good tune in a while. Guess it was time. Great product. I would definitely buy it again.

This is one quality at a fraction of the cost. I have bought quite a few aftermarket distributors, most of them junk. Rotor buttons with were out of round. The distributors caps formed poorly not bolting up flush to distributor slowing water and condensation in. This is the only cheaply priced after market cap and rotor which is as good of quality as oem in my opinion. Take a chance on this set, you won't be sorry.

Fitment is a hair off but it works well even in wet conditions so fear so good deff helped my car

I bought this Item to replace ANOTHER terrible ite. trying to find OEM quality cap and rotor for my 1996 Honda civic non vtec. I will not try another random brand again. Normally a cap will have either bolts that go through the cap that can be removed, OR they are retained so they won't fall out but are already in place. This product came with the screws to install the cap but they did not fit in the holes. you needed the thread them through the bushing (aluminum} to get it ready for installation. I threaded one in before I realized that the cap had a 2" crack down the side. Not only did it have a crack but the crack had plastic edges as if it was a casting defect. I wonder how many of these went out before the supplier realized that the mold had failed. These sorts of things seem to be happening more and more. When I save a few dollars to then not be able to use the product at all I might as well have just bought something more reputable. I guess you live and learn. Learn from my mistake, I wouldn't take a replacement part if they sent it for free, not worth risking it on my car.

Fit my 1997 Civic perfectly. Good quality, identical to OEM, imho.

Worked great in my 2000 Civic LX! Runs like a top again.

I had to install only the rotor, the distributor cap didn't fit all the way, it's a shame, it looks good quality, I tried this on a d16y7 Civic LX 98
