Genius design! Easy to use. Watch the short video in the description and you're set. I tried to use a butter knife and almost slashed my finger off... this is safer and more efficient. Will pay for itself in one serving of closed pistachios that won't get wasted!

This works. Got a chance to use it, and it works on those pesky pistachios that are super tight. As long as a tiny crack is open, the little spike fits in, and then the tools' leverage pops them open. I recommend cupping the business end of the tool as the tough ones tend to go flying, but for the most part, they don't, and you have the nut ready.

I love this tool! It makes it so easy to crack open pistachios and I love pistachios!The tool is very sturdy and easy to handle. It will last a very long time. Yay!I highly recommend it. 😎

The positive: It actually works.The not so negative: It takes time - you have to carefully align the existing crack with the opener.The somewhat negative: It does not work when a pistachio does not have any crack to begin with.The negative: It is really expensive for what it does.

I cannot believe how amazing this Pistachio Nut Opener is! I used to ruin my nails opening Pistachios, but never again when i have this! i am in love with it! Actually, this is my 2nd one i bought; My mother took mine and never returned it. It is perfect for the elderly! I will have to hide it from my sister or i will have to buy a 3rd one.

It works but it is flimsy.

This opener works very well at opening pistachios that have a shell that is only slightly open. It saves you from finger pain and broken fingernails.

My initial impression of this tool was very good. It works well. As I have continued to use it, it began rusting and literally stinks of metal. The kind of stink that is repulsive to me. I purchased four of them which, at the time, I thought was overpriced. Unfortunately, because of the extremely strong odor of metal, they are going into the trash.
