Borden & Riley 24" x 10 Yards #116 Artist Drawing/Sketch Roll, 147 GSM/90 lb., White, 1 Roll Each

I make books and journals and love this heavyweight somewhat textured paper for this. I've tried a lot of other papers but go back to this one every time. It holds up to being handtorn without wrinkling and takes a pen well without showing through when you turn the page. It doesn't do well with water for washes but that is not what I'm using it for. It doesn't hurt that the price is great compared to other comparable papers either. Its the perfect paper for what I'm using it for.

This is a nice heavy weight paper, I think it is a bit heavier than the paper used for most posters. Since it is to thick, you may have to unroll what you need and let it lay flat for awhile to keep it from curling back up. It takes pencil very well, and I was able to erase light pencil marks easily without being able to notice something was here before erasing. I'd recommend this for artists who want an excellent quality paper product for large/long pictures.

The roll of paper is nice and thick. Great for drawing I’m sure— but it is damaged. Would have been amazing paper, but they shipped me a damaged roll. There is a deep crease through the roll from what looks like it was dropped on the corner. It was also partially opened. I planned to use this for drawing so it will not be usable for 2 inches off of the bottom for the entire roll which defeats the purpose of me buying it at this size. This was not shipping damage— the box was in perfect condition. I’m not going to return because I’m just so over the lack of quality control with Amazon anymore.

It's a medium weight paper, no textured, but it's good quality. White, smooth, pretty resistent. Best for the price.

I've used this paper twice now for mural work. It takes maker beautifully but was concerned with other artists who were putting it to the test with some other paints. It did great! No warping.

Feels like butcher paper, go ahead and buy it if you just need some craft paper but don’t do it if you actually need vellum that you can trace through and feels quality

I'm new to graphite pencils. The drawing paper I had bought is too textured but this vellum is perfect for my needs. A good aspect of it is also its only down side. It is such heavy paper that it takes a lot of artist tape to hold it flat on my easel. This vellum is smooth on one side and textured on the other. I use the smooth side, and for a person like me who uses about as much eraser as pencil, it is very user friendly.

I ordered this for a class where I needed clear vellum and assumed incorrectly that this would meet that need. It did not. However it is very nice thick paper
