Great product, one minor fault
Nice product, much better than Depends. The pad also extends to the back for better protection and the grey color is uniform over the product, so it doesn't have an obvious white pad in the middle like an athletic supporter.Very good value. They don't seem as much "just like underwear" as the premium Depends Real Fit, but in all other ways these are better. I can't use Depends Real Fit; they don't work for me. I would pay more for these than the Depend product because aside from the "just like underwear" look, these are superior in almost all ways. The Depend non-woven fabric fits a bit tighter, but the tradeoff is that the pad has to be smaller and can't come up the back at all.Lets face it, even with the Depend Real-Fit most people who need these are going to avoid situations where they are standing around in their underwear with strangers. The Tena are good enough for a slight glimpse of waistband that people won't notice, so I would rather have a product that works a whole lot better than one that looks a tiny bit better.BUT, as another reviewer had mentioned, it is hard to tell front from back, and every once-in-a-while I need to take them off again and turn them around. Like the other reviewer said, many of us have multiple health issues and that can be a battle my arthritis doesn't need first thing in the morning when my hands already resemble lobster claws. EDITED TO ADD: I've been using the Tena product a lot more lately and over time I've gotten much better at doing this and I've only mixed it up once in the last three months. I'm raising my review up from 4 to 5 stars. That small issue aside, these work well, fit well and look pretty good for what they are. I am less embarrassed to be seen in these by medical people than other products.

The best there is
OK, first off what is all this whining about "can't tell front from back"? Not for nothing, but one side has a thick, absorbent pad right where you might be leaking. On that same side the leg opening is cut higher than the other side. So, that would be the front.I have had to use this type of underwear since a prostatectomy didn't go so well 11 years ago. Over the years I have tried virtually every brand and style available. Yes, the Depends "real fit" are a little fancier, but too pricey to be the every day go-to. The Tena brand is comfortable, affordable, and functional to the max. Five stars and more.

Double check your size before you buy!
I normally use a different brand and thought I would try these because of the price. I ware a large in the other brand and thats what I ordered here. It seems their large starts at 45! The other was 38 to 42 for large, so this is a bit big. My fault for not checking enough. Needless to say the fit is a little loose. I do like the pad though, as wraps around more that the other. I have to ware shilds as well as the pants. I won't know how well the work until I have a problem. I do worry the fit may let them leak, but I won't blame that on these pants. I will get the right ones next time. As this may not work as well as the right size I am giving this three starts. Buy the way, they do have an extra bit in the butt for those with a larger size bottom.

Great choice
So handy to have them delivered in discrete packages. Price better than other brands

Very disappointed with these
I was looking forward to the Tena ProSkin Maximum Absorbency Underwear to solve a few problems I am having with other brands. But in use of the first two of these I am very disappointed.First the good: These are very comfortable and well made. The "Tear Away" seam is substantial and heavier than other brands I've tried. It does not tear apart while using the product. This Tena item does not shed lint or fuzzies like several other brands tried so no fuzz balls getting all over my clothing and the house or sticking to my hands. Now the bad: The very first thing I found was that there is no indication of what is the front or back on these. The package said to look for a "blue waitband stitching" but that is NOT to be found on these at all. I now have to determine the front/back by a visual inspection of the cut of the item at the crotch with the fuller part being the rear. Despite the package labeling of five blue drop dots out of eight, these LEAK and do NOT hold much. It leaked so bad the first one dripped on the floor when I took it off. In fact, Tena had send a sample of their Super Plus Underwear which shows only 4 drop dots out of five, the Super Plus was actually more absorbent that these Maximum with five drop dots. So I felt confident that an Underwear showing five drop dots would be better than ones showing four drop dots so I ordered these ProSkin. MUCH to my surprise they are NOT as absorbent as the Super Plus! So now since the remaining of the packages are not returnable I'll be using booster pads to increase the holding capacity of the ProSkin Underwear I have left.I find the whole "Drop Dot" indication of absorbency used by most adult diaper manufacturers not very usable and misleading - not very accurate in trying to determine absorbency either within a brand's offerings or across brands. Very few brands actually state the CAPACITY of absorbency of the items they offer. I guess they are afraid to do so.

Very Good
Sucks to need these for my Dad with Lewy Body Dementia, but alas this is life....these are every bit as good as the high end depends. The only thing we noticed is that they don't come up as high, which is really better in my opinion. Dad didn't notice the difference. He is 175lbs and we got the Medium. Fit was good.
