MOTONG Replacement Charger Dock Compatible with Huawei Watch 1st Gen

I bought this item because I couldn't find the original watch charger. I had some difficulties at the beginning. However, later on, after chatting with the seller, the product worked very well as intended. So fas so good, it is working perfectly as the original. I just drop the watch and it starts charging immediately. I don't remember if the original charge it faster, but this one works as fast as that one. I just need to connect it to any regular power supply or USB port. It works everytime for almost 1 month so far. Therefore, I am very content with the service and the product for this nowadays old but still functional device which is the huawei watch first gen.

I don't understand why this product doesn't have better reviews!? I was devastated when my Huawei jewel smartwatch wouldn't charge, I was terrified the watch was malfunctioning! This charger fixed my problem though. It was a great replacement, my watch tightly secures to the prongs (as much as it can anyways), I'm not sure why other ppl have given it a bad review. The charge itself is great......the particular charger design is the actual problem , not the actually charger itself. It's a magnetic prong charging device, how good can it possibly be!? However, this replacement charger does exactly what it is supposed to, and I have had no issues with it what so ever! ANNNNND I didn't have to buy a new watch, so I'm stoked!

This charger makes the screen flicker and become unresponsive. This was tested with multiple usb sources including the original OEM usb wall adapter. When removing from the charger the screen remains unresponsive until it automatically powers off after a few seconds. Aside from this behavior it did seem to charge in my first attempt. The original Huawei charger works perfectly every time.

Used for 2 weeks, no problem with charging. Still have to play with it to get the pins positioned correctly for charging but I like my Huawei watch 1 and want to keep it running for as long as possible. The wire on original charger frayed where it connects to charger because of constant bending. I will try to reinforce this new charger.

My Huawei watch has been dead for quite some time due to a broken charger. The original charger design for these watches wasn't great and this new one has the same limitations. I think it's just a part that needs to be replaced on a regular basis as the pin springs eventually break. I know a lot of reviewers say this caused problems with their watch but it may be due to watch updating issues. My watch took quite some time to get itself updated and working properly after charging for the first time in a year.

Works perfect. Only difference between this and the OEM one that comes with the watch is that this one needs to be used in a pure USB port supply which means when you plug it into a PC usb port it works as a data connection not a charger and does not charge. When plugged into a USB power supply it works perfect. The OEM one can do both which is the difference. Also it does not heat up or get hot or anything as others reviews claim nor has it damaged my watch in any way or form. These reviewers who claim that must have a faulty watch and or battery. My watch is bran new and this charger works perfect. Update: 2019 Jan 6th. Since my purchase this charger is still working 100% perfectly with no issues.

So this a decent replacement for the OEM one. The OEM and this one both have one issue and that is that the pins lose tension or something happens to the spring internally so the connectors do not end up lining up. For all the people saying their watch doesn't charge, either you have a defective charger, your pins on your watch may have oxidized or your watch is done. I used an eraser to rub off oxidation on my watch. This is the 2nd Motong charger i am using because my OEM and first Motong had the same issue where the pins lose tension and do not stay up.

Just got this particular Motong brand, and I am very happy with it. One of the pins on my old charger would not extend all the way and I'm sure that was part of my charging problems. Also gently took a safety pin and scraped off some of the corrosion on the watch's connector sites, and this Motong connects almost 100% of the time! I've just had it a couple of days, but what I've experienced was in no way what some of the negative reviewrs wrote. I'll revise review if I see any problems, but I think it was a very good buy.
