Fun project!
This was a fun project for the hobbyist. It was easy to assemble for anyone who can solder or is a good learning tool for someone willing to learn. It works very well as long as it is front of the speaker. I'm thinking of mounting the microphone remotely so I can mount the display away from the speaker.

Nice quick practice
This is the first time I’ve ever soldered anything, so I was hoping for something simple. It took me about an hour , mainly because I was getting accustomed to using the iron and positioning and all that. Instructions were not great but other reviews and YouTube helps a lot. Overall it was exactly what I was hoping for.

Great little project
Great little project, however it is a bit on the advanced side. You will need to understand resistor and capacitor values in relation to reading the board schematic. Dont let that dissuade you though. Lots of info on web and phone apps. Worked perfectly on first go!

Better if you can read Chinese
Instructions are entirely in Chinese. I got it put together and working but I can't figure out what it's supposed to do. You make a noise and the lights blink, that's it. Good for soldering practice, that's it.

Horrible
Not completeBasically just good for practicing soldering but not fully functioning. Not for beginners as there is no instructions just a schematic.I know it's cheap but save your money

Low Quality Parts
Pros: all pieces were in the kit, easy to assemble, worked when finished.Cons: had to repair IC socket -- one connector was all the way out of the base and two of the 11 LEDs didn't work.

Electronic Tech level project
Helped my 18 year old son put this together. Works like advertized... BUT...You need to know how to read an electonic schematic to know:1. where to put the 2 different resistors and capacitors.2. how to read polarity on most of the components.3. where to apply power. Does not specify where to attach the battery pack. Its childs-play for a tech, but next to impossible for a novice.

Really fun project
One of the best kits out there. Recommend.
