Allows me to keep playing bass guitar despite overuse injuries and arthritis. Stabilizes thumb and prevented further stretching. Good support and just enough motion restriction. Very comfortable and easy to adjust, didn't smell or make my hand sweat. Protects the CMC joint where it hurts with a padded metal piece. I'm a working musician, this was recommended by my doctor. Well-made in USA. Doesn't look "medical". Cut off the tag, very discreet classy piece.

My ortho doc wanted me to order an $80 brace and since I didn't have the money I opted to try this one.It's probably not quite as stabilizing as the more expensive versions - but it does the job just fine.My CMC pain has been significantly reduced since wearing this. It's easy on - easy off and as comfortable as a brace can be.

Followed fitting guidelines -thumb support did not fit or offer any support. It also felt stiff, scratchy and all around uncomfortable -returned. Seller took 20% off of my refund. Do not buy from this seller unless you are 100% positive that this will fit you.

I tried this for a week but it didn't do much for the pain, which is in the base of my thumb near the wrist. It could be this is just not the support I need for my issue. I did not get this because it was recommended by anyone, just by reviews and according to same issues. It was very warm to wear during the day and when I did wear it at night, it was just bothersome so put it in a drawer. sigh. Now I am looking for something else to see if I can get relief.
