Acerbis 2125670001 Skid Plates, black

Got for 2005 crf-450r fit was good, but had to trim right hand side so break lever would clear.

Fit my 2007 crf 450r just gotta cut alittle on the brake side

Works great! I was skeptical about a plastic skidplate because I ride in what is normally considered the roughest place in the Southeast and one of the roughest places in the country with mostly A,AA,and B class Harescramble racers with a few Enduro riders thrown in for good measure. The guys who don't do either one, hang right with the others, so we can be extra rough on equipment, especially something like a skidplate. Not a one of them had faith in this plastic skidplate especially since I have the reputation of being about the worst to slam the obstacles everyone else rides around. This has held up GREAT! No complaints. Will buy again.

Required some trimming near the brake pedal. The contour to the frame wasn’t great so I had to try to bend it into place while installing g the bolts. That’s only frustrating since you need to remove it to change the oil. The plastic is sturdy and hold up to rocks so it does its job

On my 2006 crf450r, I had to drill out the mounting holes to make it fit and also had to cut away about 1/2" on the left side to make room for the rear brake lever. Without cutting this away there is not enough room for full range of downward motion to fully engage the rear brake.After making these mods it is a great product. Without these mods it will not work on my bike.

Acerbis has always had outstanding products - mounted right up quick and easy to my 450X. It fit so well, that I bought two more - one for my dad's '05 450R and my '09 450R. Happy with all three! The 450X mounting was the easiest, and removal for an oil change is as simple as can be!

Didn't come with mounting hardware, had to drill holes to get it to fit. Also had to trim about 1/2" from right side to get rear brake lever to clear the skid plate.

Perfect fit to my crf 450 r 2005, very good quality.
