Beautiful, but pants fit poorly -- designed for an obese person A2L
The pants for A2L are huge. Supposedly the upper weight limit is 195 for these, yet I'm 190 and have to tighten the belt almost as tight as it can go. Without using a trick tying them that I've since figured out, they slip down (don't stay on) and aren't the most comfortable. Beautiful GI but the pants are disappointing. Inside of pants are also quite frayed even before washing. Jacket is also a tad small for a muscular build but doable -- it improves over time (but make sure to cold wash them and don't try). Let me be clear that this GI is sexy. It definitely stands out. I would recommend the following with the pants: 1) Pull the sides out as tight as you can before putting them through the loops. 2) Hold on to each side to keep is tight as you put in through the loops. 3) When you reach the center, cross over to the opposite loop so that the two center loops can be pulled tightly towards the center when you form your tie. 4) Loop the drawstrings around each other in a spiral once or twice before forming your bow. 5) Make sure the bow is nice and tight. 6) Also, hot wash the pants and dry them a few times to shrink them as needed. Make sure you don't accidentally dry the jacket. You want to also wash the jacket in cold water. It shouldn't take all of this to keep the pants on reasonably, but it's working out since figuring this trick out.
