This product is a substantial improvement over standard white silicone thread tape. Much thicker and formulated to work on stainless steel threads. While pricey if you want a drip free junction the first time this product is ideal. I used standard white silicone tape on 1" stainless steel to 1" brass fittings. Drips could not be stopped. After ordering and installing the High Density tape. Problem solved.

Used on auto engine oil pan plug to stop it from leaking. Worked great

This sure isn't $0.69 Teflon tape.. It's very thick and works great. A bit pricey though. I found buying the wider tape and cutting it down to be more cost effective.

I needed to seal a thread in oil fitting on my DURAMAX Which starts up at over 100 psi, I tried putty, E6000, all types of Teflon tape still dripped. Bought this stuff so far dry! It’s actually hard to tear! Now that’s tuff tape!

I used regular Teflon tape on some stainless threaded pipe for compressed air lines and the joints all leaked. Redid the joints with this tape and no leaks!!!

Twice failed with regular teflon tape. This worked first time with the dark additive in the tape that allow a better seal.

Have yet to use it but it was listed for use with Stainless Steel Metal which is the Material I am using it with.
