Kenney 71605 Deco Window Curtain Rod, 48 to 86-Inch, Antique White

This was a nice product with a great price. It was sturdy and looks great on the wall.

I'd like to add a clarification to the "Size Matters" review, which says "The issue with the rod that I have is it advertised for 28" to 48". If you need it to be close to 48" get the larger rod. Once it extends to about 45" It sags in the middle A LOT." This does not apply for the 48 to 86-inch item, since you get three supports and the one in the middle keeps the bar straight. And I don't agree with the review titled "Needs improvement" which states "The problem is that there is no way to keep the rod the length you want it. There is no screw portion to the center so every time I open my drapes the bar spreads out also." There are screws that go through each of the three supports to hold the bars in place. They are a bit difficult to loosen and tighten, but once you have done so, the bars seem to be held in place quite adequately. Now these rods are quite thin (and one is obviously thinner than the other so that they can telescope), and the supports are basically painted, flat hooks, but for this price I think they have done a very good job at making the item look classy.

Very easy to install. Looks nice. I use grommet drapes and they slide easily over 2 windows.

These look great and I am very pleased. However, other reviewers are right--they are not easy to install. The drywall inserts crack and do not work, making the screws very difficult to insert to make the installation flush to the wall.

I just received it and it seems to be sturdy enough for the sheers I purchased for the room. I'm sure they'd hold a regular pair of curtains but nothing heavy. I'd be afraid they'd sag in the middle if not supported. I don't believe these came with the middle support but can be purchased at any hardware store. They aren't the best quality but for the money they are great for the job I purchased it for. I'd recommend it

Works great for what I needed it for. Used for sheer curtains behind main curtains

Have now bought four of these curtain rods. Inexpensive but do the trick. Like the looks of them. Happy with purchases.
