Safety Belt with Buckle

I used this seat belt for the first time today. It fit perfectly around the head rest, was easy to attach to the dog's leash. I like it better than the strap that fits into the seat belt. I like that it can be adjusted for just the right amount of comfort and safety for the dog. Love this product!

This car dog harness has been a total game changer for traveling with our dogs. It feels incredibly sturdy and well-made, and I love knowing our dogs are safely secured during car rides. This seat belt for your fur baby is excellent!! Easy to install and move to different seats in my car (Hyundai Sonata Hybrid). The seat belt is sturdy and very well made. The length is just right for my sweet Bernedoodle, allowing her to relax in the seat but still securely fastened. Don't hesitate to purchase it.

I love the Mighty Paws car harness. It is easy to put on, sturdy, well made and comfortable. Thank goodness it never had to be tested in real life, so I can't vouch for its strength, but it certainly looks like it would hold up. In particular, the most comfortable and convenient set up for my 65 lb. dog is to utilize the headrest belt option. This option allows her enough room to stand up, sit and lay in the back seat comfortably without getting tangled up. It's also very easy to put around the headrest, and I leave it there all the time so whenever she comes for a ride, I simply hook the end of the belt into the back of her harness and she's good to go. She really likes it compared to the belt that clicks into the seatbelt latch which is shorter and more restrictive. This method often tangles around her leg requiring me to stop the car to untangle. I have used the headrest belt harness for about a year in my Lexus SUV and liked it so much that I purchased a 2nd headrest belt piece for my Tesla 2020 Model S. However, I was so disappointed when I tried to put the headrest belt around the rear headrest.....it did not fit. Unfortunately, the design of the 2020 Tesla headrest is that it is in a fixed position. It cannot be pulled up to expose the metal bars that hold it in place like the Lexus; it’s ostensibly one piece with the seat and it’s fairly wide. The way this harness is designed is that the headrest belt wraps around the 2 metal spokes (or the narrowest part of the headrest) that hold the headrest in place. Then once in place, you adjust the belt to tighten around the metal spokes so that in case of an accident, the belt cannot be pulled off the headrest. This is accomplished simply because the cushioned headrest is much wider than the 2 metal spokes that raise and lower it and it would physically be impossible for the belt to slip off the headrest (unless the belt broke or ripped off). Pretty neat and simply design. But the Tesla headrests are so wide, that the belt cannot go around it even at the belt’s widest setting and their headrests do not adjust at all. I've heard various years of different Tesla models do have headrests that can raise and expose the spokes that hold it....but unfortunately my 2020 does not. So I will most likely have to use the seat belt hook to secure her in place, and she will not like that. I subtracted a star for that as it doesn't serve my purpose in the Tesla. But for other car makes where the seatbelts do adjust, this harness is a great solution.

I loved how one worked so I bought a second. These warp our your headrests in the car and click on to your dog's harness. Such a piece of mind having such a sturdy product for our precious puppies. Great quality. There are other products out there that snap into the seat belt and then attach to your dog's harness, however I have use those in the past and my dog got tangled up in the feet while moving around. Pro - with this product its is sturdy, reliabe, and has a swivel on the top so that dog can move around and not get caught up, which is a huge plus while you are concentrating on driving.

I have bought this twice now. It is adjustable for your dog size and how close you want them to the windows, front seat, etc. Just a little security if you stop short or have a bigger issue. The latch is easy to hook and unhook from your dog’s harness. I’ve had one for over two years and it’s still working great.

We purchased this product and decided to purchase an additional for our second vehicle as it worked great for our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy. I feel comfortable with the quality of the seat belt leash as it does keep him safely restrained/confined to the back seat of my SUV by attaching the strap/leash to his harness (I WOULD NOT attach to a collar, only a harness, because if in an accident or suddenly slamming on the breaks could result in a broken neck and/or other injuries) and attaching to the seat belt connection. He is safely confined to the back seat where he cannot interfere with driving or be harmed by the air bag if in an accident and is not confined to a hot crate. The puppy is able to see me, unlike when confined in a crate, and doesn't cry. He can also see out of the windows which has helped in him not becoming motion sick. There is enough strap (which is adjustable) to allow the dog to sit, stand, or lie down on the back seat.

this item arrived early this morning in just under 24hours!, on first look it looked a little too short after sorting to the correct length it was perfect to begin our journey even more safely! as in the past we had to secure my boy with the seatbelt looping through his harness and lead. which gave him too much movement and caused him to become carsick but NOW we have the perfect security for him allows some movement and is VERY easy to install and use. very well made :) thank you so much for the best security ive found yet a happy pup/dog makes a happy owner

Very strong, good weight, great length for my large dog to be able to sit comfortably, safely and securely. Easy to use ( great clip to existing harness). I thought it was great value for money considering the quality and security it provides. There was also a handy little guide with it that gives general tips on travelling well with pets.

So much better than the one I bought before. My dog was able to pull free before as the clasp was not strong enough. This one is. It’s really well made and very strong. If you got anything bigger than a Yorkshire terrier than please buy a really good car restraint.

Dieser Sicherheitsgurt macht einen sehr stabilen und robusten Eindruck. Habe ihn bisher erst einmal benutzt, bin aber total begeistert. Vorher hatte ich einen, den man direkt in die Vorrichtung für den Sicherheitsgurt einsteckt. Sicherheit und Haltbarkeit waren hier auch gegeben. Nachteil: Hunde drehen sich ja ein paar mal um die eigene Achse bevor sie sich hinlegen und dabei rollte er sich immer in den Gurt, sodass er sich dann nicht mehr bewegen konnte. Das passiert bei diesem Gurt nicht, da dieser über ihn weg führt zur Nackenstütze des Autos.
