I recently purchased suits for my sons to wear to my cousin’s wedding, and I have to say, they looked absolutely dashing! Purchased the Navy blue suit for a school function and didn't want to spend a lot. Grandson is portraying Barack Obama in a speech. May never wear again? Grandson is in a 10/12 normally. Inseam is roughly 25. Slim build. Just under 4 1\2 ft tall. Originally bought the 10 as grandson is a little more on the thinner side. Pants fit more like an 8. Too tight, too short. Shirt and vest also fit more like an 8. Jacket was perfect. Returning that one and bought the 12. Pants are just a bit big around the waist, but once the shirt is tucked in and he put on a belt it was good. Pant length is actually perfect. Shirt is a little long in the sleeves, but I added buttons so the cuff is slightly smaller around the wrist so the shirt wouldn't hang over his hands. Washed the shirt and there was no obvious shrinkage. Vest fits with a little room yet. Jacket is slightly too big, as you can see, but if your child is a little bigger in the shoulders and chest there is room. Grandson thought the zipper tie was pretty cool. He loves the suit. The only thing I would change is a tie with light and Navy blue. So there's a little contrast. The solid matching tie is a bit too much solid matchy, matchy for my taste. But it still looks very nice.Packaging on the 10 was just the suit pieces all folded in a single clear plastic shipping bag. Thankfully it didn't didn't rip open during transport. The 12 though, came folded beautifully in a nice zip closed bag and then another plastic bag and then a shipping bag. Second plastic bag probably could have been eliminated, the zipper bag was very nice. The suit of course needed a little steaming and the shirt needed ironing, but all of the wrinkles came out no problem. Material is lightweight and hung nicely. Nice to the touch. Grandson stated the suit was very comfortable to wear.Return of the size 10 was easy and quick as always with Amazon.Overall, would definitely recommend this suit. For the price, the materials and quality were very good and honestly much better than I anticipated. Sizing could use a little bit of work, but luckily we didn't need much altering at all for our needs.

Bought this for my 6 year old son for my wedding. The pants length was a little long, so we had them taken in but that's ok - its better to have more than less. The suit quality is good and matched perfectly to the groomsmens' rented tuxes! He can wear the suit now for other occasions. It came with Pants, Jacket, White Shirt, Two ties (red and black), and vest. It was comfortable and the fabric is soft and comfortable.

I bought this for my small/slender 8 year old son to wear in a wedding. He is 51-52" tall and 58-60lbs. He normally wears a 7/8 in shirts and a 7 in jeans, 8 if they're short. The pants in this suit set are PERFECT. They fit him like a glove, which is to say they run slightly small to most 8s. The jacket is pretty large on him, but not unnaturally, so I would say it probably runs TTS-a bit large. It will fit better with the shirt/vest/tie combo under it, but the sleeves are still long. The dress shirt and tie are perfect, and the tie is a zipper tie which he LOVES since he can put it on himself. The vest fits very well, so I would say true to size on it also. The suit is satin lined and the outer material has a very nice, slightly silky feel to it and appears to be excellent quality. There is nothing cheap or tacky looking about this suit set at all. The ONLY issue I have is the jacket buttons are sewn quite loosely and will need to be reinforced if he wears it more than once, but that isn't a huge deal to me. Overall I think this was an excellent purchase, and we're both very pleased!

The sizing chart seems a little off. They were both too short and too big on both of my boys, one who is average for his age and one who is a bit skinner for his age. I had to return and order something from Target!
