Good heavy wrench for reasonable price.
It may be cast iron or forged steel (we are debating, but cast iron is winning 3 to 5).Works like a charm on local California hydrants. I thought all were 5-point valves until I saw other reviews saying this did not fit. The hook/spanner end works great to loosen tight hose fittings.No complaints since all the other hydrant wrenches cost double the price.

Great to have if your department doesnt have a lot of money
This spanner is a life saver. Very sturdy but not too heavy. Fits on our hydrants and the extra length makes getting stubborn fire hose connections broken apart.

Does not fit any Hydrant in town very crudely made. Had to get it machined to fit the Hydrants. Very Very poorly made.

Great value.
Great value. We purchased 14 for our community fireboxes. These were made of cast iron rather than aluminum which has no recycle value. We believe the previous wrench were stolen for the recycle value of the aluminum.
