Mava Sports Knee Compression Sleeve Support for Men and Women - Perfect for Powerlifting, Weightlifting, Running, Gym Workout, Squats and Pain Relief

After years of jogging I finally had to stop 3years ago as my knees just hurt to much to run. For 3 years I’ve had a distinctive limp (“What’s wrong .. do you have a flat tire?”). Somebody new at my gym, noticing my struggles suggested buying knee compression sleeves. Younger guy too, who was wearing them. Well, that got rid of my “those are the aged” opinion, so I bought these. Truly a life changer as several people have already noticed I’m not limping …. And not just at the gym. These fit wonderfully under dress pants and leave no trace of being worn and are not uncomfortable to wear for hours at a time. I can now cut the grass without pain and without taking a break (this may be a bad thing if you’ve gotten out of cutting the grass by complaining about knee pain).

Update:I've had these for over two years, and they still work well. Not as tight as some, light compression on the knee that is comfortable, and they don't slide down easily. I hand wash them, and they have surprised me by lasting this long.Original review:Because I have thick thighs and muscular calves, I find it hard to find knee sleeves that fit. Some absolutely strangle my calves and thighs while they fit my knees just right, others are too loose on my knees. I emailed Mava support to ask which knee sleeve they recommended for light squats and knee rehab for someone with larger legs but smaller knees, and they suggested these, so I gave 'em a shot.While I don't find the knee area tight enough for squatting heavy, overall I really like these - they're warm, they do apply some compression on my knees and are flexible enough to fit my legs, too. For squats, I'm using a wrap over the sleeve for a little more compression for my trouble knee, and they're great for the rest of my workout and recovery - leaving them on for a little while has stopped the swelling that used to follow my leg workouts.Since everyone's legs are different, these may or may not work for you. For me, I really like them, and if you have bigger legs and smaller knees and need moderate compression, these are well worth trying, especially considering that many knee sleeves are over $30 for one while these are $20 for a pair.

If you are looking for a support sleeve, this is not for you. It does provide MILD support, but I have a torn meniscus, so I need a little more support. If you are just using it as a compression sleeve, I would recommend the above two for that purpose. This one has shown signs of wear after wearing less than 30 days, it has started to pill a little, and the elastic has started to unravel in spots, but its still the best under brace I have found. A few things about these knee sleeves. First they feel great. I was looking for something breathable that I could wear instead of my knee brace all the time and in that aspect they are great. Unfortunately I have a few issues with them while measurement wise they fit on my calves they ride up and bunch up below my knee this means I’m having to constantly adjust from standing and sitting. My biggest issue though is that I bought these with the impression that the non-slip part was all the way around the top which it is not. This means the front works great and doesn’t roll but the back constantly rolls down and is very uncomfortable. Now this may be because my legs are at the top end of the measurement, but I think if the non-slip part was all the way around it would remove this issue. I will be returning them for that reason.

Great sleeves for anyone who works out or exercises. Stays in place during workout, gives very good support and provides the heat retention that you want during your workout. They do not roll down and are not movement constrictive. The measuring chart and instructions work perfect. These are not knee wraps and will not give your the support of a wrap. As others have reported I have not had any issues with these either rolling down, itching my skin not staying in place. I've used my first pair for about 4 months and had to go to the next bigger size, and the first pair look brand new. I used them 2-3 times a week for about 1- 1.5 hrs at a time. Everyone that I have turned on to these love them and have no issues at all. Remember, these are not knee wraps, they give you very comfortable support during your exercise and help keep the knee warm will you are exercising. Using this product for other uses and then saying they don't work is not fair, get the knee wrap for your application.

I do CrossFit with these. Saves wear and tear on my knees. Had trouble when I first started CrossFit. My knees weren’t tracking correctly. After physio, I started to wear these and they help support my knees while keeping the kneecap in the correct position. Still have to make sure to move correctly but these definitely help me.

Great product for running and hiit

Very happy with purchase, offers the right amount of knee support without the bulk of other kinds of wraps/braces. Grips on the top to ensure proper wear work great. Gentle wash and hang dry and they will last.

I would buy them again!
