This works great, the power adapters are easy to change and ...
I have a Dell port replicator for my laptop at work, and I wanted the same functionality for my Lenovo, MSI, and HP laptops at home as well as my Dell from work. This works great, the power adapters are easy to change and it only takes a few seconds to register the with the operating system so you can get to work.If you use Linux as I do you will need to download and install special drivers from Targus as it most likely will not register the way Plug and Play on Windows would. It wasn't too difficult to find, I think it only took me a few minutes to find the drivers and get up and running on Linux.

Good Docking Station
Nice docking station. Works well for my purposes. Wish it had a standard HDMI connection. Had to get an adapter to connect to my TV.

Three Stars
Everything worked well except Targus does not have a power adapter for my HP laptop. So I returned it.

Stay away from Targus docking stations!
The docking feature did not work out of the box. Installed all the correct firmware per Targus' recommendations. Still didn't work. Contacted costumer service, who happened to be clueless on why the product was not functional. Overall, a bad experience with the product and the customer service team. If you really dig into the reviews for the Targus docking stations you will see that there are quite a few problems with their implementation of the design.

Targus docking station
This not inexpensive docking station was well worth the money permitting me to have three screens connected to my laptop, the laptops on screen into external 32 inch screens while also having a printer and several other USB devices plus HDMI as well. It comes with its own power supply into which the laptop plugs permitting the laptops power supply cord to remain conveniently in a traveling bag and permitting record connection and disconnection from old and disconnection from all peripherals. The only downside is that the instructions or anything but clear but they offered online support quickly clarified my questions. For me it was well worth the money, permitting three extended screens, to function from one laptop. Well done Targums. Amazon delivered it faster than promised as well.

No HDMI ports
Bought this to replace an ACP71usz that would not be reliably recognized as a USB device by my laptop. It was not clear from the product description that this docking station has 2 DisplayPort jacks for video instead of HDMI as did the ACP71usz. So, I had to run to Best Buy to purchase a Display Port to HDMI cable (I could have used a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter but wanted to avoid an extra connection). This added $25 to the cost of switching docking stations. Also, the unit arrived in a brown cardboard box without the outside packaging. Returned? On the plus side, I liked having an on/off switch and more USB 3.0 connections and I have had no problems although it is the first day of use.

beware of misleading specs on manufacturer's site
Specs on manufacturer's site state that it has: ' 2 DisplayPort and 2 DVI-I – that deliver beyond HD video and graphics up to 2560 x 1600 resolution to 2 monitors.' (verbatim, check Targus site page for this dock).I bought it for my Dell Inspiron 5559 running Windows 10, as I wanted to connect 2 LG Ultrawide 34" monitors. Unfortunately, no matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work with them, as the highest resolution available turned out to be only 1920 x 1080. Contacted the manufacturer to check for new drivers or anything I needed to do to make it work at the higher resolution - as per their own published specs - only to find out that it doesn't. Their excuse for the misleading description on their website was that the dock supports the 2560 x 1600 resolution only for a 32-bit system.Really? since when is this not part of the specs? So, if you need high resolution on a 64-bit system (most of them nowadays) do NOT count on this dock to work for higher resolution than 1920 x 1080. Also, do NOT trust manufacturer's specs.

Second dock I've bought, first one worked great for about 12 months then became a glorified usb hub when the video out and ethernet ports mysteriously stopped working.
