Honestly I wasn't especting too much out of it, but it's a nice size and actually works well. I'm glad I got this because I'm also ordering a monitor to attach to my old 2012 Mac which only has 2 USB ports. So the fact that I can charge my mouse (when needed to), have the USB for the wireless mouse in, a USB for a keyboard, and the fan for my laptop lap-desk thing, is great. If I need to, I could even have my drawing tablet connected to it and still have left over ports. So it's all good!I also love the fact that it can be turned on and off for each individual port. And when it's on it will have a blue light that comes on. It didn't want to connect my external hard drive for some reason, but maybe it's the hard drive itself. Either way, I prefer my external hard drive directly connected to my laptop (so both USB ports on my laptop are used at all times anyway).

I have several of these and they work well.

Update: Changed to a 4 star rating. USB port 1 was shorted but the seller reached out to me and offered a refund for the product. To me this represents excellent customer service. I found the issue with USB port one was the -DATA and VCC pins were shorted to the socket shell, imo, this could happen to any device. I moved the pins and cleared the short but the deformed pins aren't making contact with anything I plug in so at this point it's a 6 rather than 7 port splitter. 6 ports are working fine and I find having a switch for each to be useful.

Love that there are so many ports and that they can each be separately controlled by a switch.

If you're like me and you have a bunch of electronics with USB cords and no place to plug them in at, you need this product. It's sleek design and small size means that it won't take up a lot of room, and it comes with 7, yes 7, USB ports, which is more than most USB hubs. And it's a lot cheaper than others as well. Also, it comes with switches for each port which allows you to turn that port on and off depending on whether or not you're using the device, which is a nice feature. I highly recommend this product and I hope you like it as much as I do.

I bought this because naturally I needed additional USB inputs for my MacBook Pro, but I’m finding that some of the ports don’t work and I have to play shift around and try and find which ports have a connection. I’ve had this for just a little over a month, but it’s starting to go out. I don’t move it, it stays in one place. I had an external drive plugged into it and my computer kept freezing and I had to keep rebooting, and rebooting took forever. I decided to plug the drive directly into my computers USB port and all of that went away. Boots right up!I’d look at another unit, because this one is faulty.

The more you plug in the slower products work/charge. Its nice if ypu keep everything plugged in at once but only have 1 or 2 slots powered on at a time. Basically a trickle charger for my phone (phone always sends notification that its charging slower than normal to change to cable tha was supplied with device) Not good at all for attaching multiple items to pc at once. Doesnt work after 2 or 3 devices. But i dont use it for pc anyway i use it as a charging device plugged into a brick plugged into the wall. Would rather a better quality item as this one is VERY CHEAPLY made all around. Not worth as much as i paid. Save your money get it off wish.com for like 3$

With so many trinkets that are either charged or operate on a USB cord, I just wanted to consolidate some on one neat package. This does the job at a fair price. By no means is this something that is robust enough to be banged around and constantly connected and disconnected to and there is no increase in power provided but it sure beats having a half dozen power adapters plugged into to run some simple gadget lights.
