Introduction to Human Geography Using ArcGIS Online

Great book and great instructor!

I am using this book to help learn the fundamentals of gis as well as gaining knowledge of human geography. I'm halfway into the second chapter and the book is excellent so far. Within each subtopic of a chapter there are online exercises which use arcgis online to demonstrate what has just been learnt with use of real world data. So far (I'm only halfway into chapter 2), this includes the basics of using the application but also at times delving in further and analysing data. The exercises seem to be progressively becoming more difficult/complex, at a natural pace, and help cement knowledge learnt from the book. They are also interesting (e.g; mapping crime hotspots within Chicago and then comparing this against human geographical factors to give reasoning as to why some areas have higher/lower crime rates). My only issue is the lack of an answer booklet to the reflective questions asked within each exercise. This is frustrating if you are not sure and would like a definitive answer. Besides that, the book provides an interesting and very modern way to learn both the fundamentals of arcgis online and human geography. Recommended to those you have an interest in either category.
