Good price, Good enough
This isn’t comparable to a high end cargo basket like Thule or Rhino Racks, but it got the job done. The assembly was quick and easy, if I had to guess, it took me roughly an hour or so to put it together and install it on the roof of my Subaru Forester (with the help of my father in law, brother, and nephew). The fabrication is pretty flimsy but it was good enough to hold light weight items like coolers and luggage that we needed to make space for on our camping trip. I wouldn’t suggest placing anything heavier than about 90lbs on it. The clamps on it shook loose after driving the interstate, but as long as it’s weighted down that should prevent it from moving or going anywhere. I don’t plan on making it a permanent fixture so I didn’t use any locktight or anything. The clamps are held together with screws that have plastic bearings over them so the best you can do is hand tighten them as hard as you can with three fingers and hope for the best. Overall because of the price to quality ratio I give it 4 stars.

Decent Product for the Price
I chose this product for two reasons -- (1) the price point and (2) the style. Compared to more expensive products that look similar, this served the purpose. The design is nice, assembly is super easy, and installation on the vehicle was easy too. I did have to purchase crossbars before I could install it on top of my 4Runner.The product is lightweight (a plus). Once assembled it is sturdy. But...A few things to be aware of with this product.1. It looks smaller than expected meaning I was anticipating something longer after the extension to increase the length and something that sat a little higher. Not a deal-breaker.2. The product is already showing signs of rust on the lower bars at the seals, for the duration I have had this attached to the vehicle and the weather conditions of where I reside this is terribly disappointing. One way to combat this is to repaint it before install with either a rust proof paint or rubberized sealant on the bottom.3. The configuration of the product (the design of the sections, how they attach to one another, and the width of the bars themselves) made it awkward to attach to the crossbars. It is a universal fit but you have to get creative to have it sit level and flush. The mounting brackets do not fit all crossbars perfectly (just be aware prior to purchasing).4. Like most roof racks there will be wind vibration and some noise (whistling). There are DIY tricks to limit this but the overall design is such that you can expect some wind resistance, especially at higher speeds.Would I recommend this product? Overall, yes I would based upon the overall design, price, and look. Sure, you can get more expensive products that look the same, but depending on your cost appetite, intended use, and vehicle this is a good purchase.

A few thousand miles and a few thoughts
I have put about 3500 miles on this roof rack and here is my opinion,Pros:Can hold a ton of stuff.Lots of tie down points.little wind noise.Ease to assemble.Attaches firm and clamps down. Can put on and take off alone.Cons:Bends when you crank the straps down (expected). All the weld joints have begun to rust in the first few uses.I would purchase this rack again it works very well. If you do buy it just know that you may need to coat all the weld joints or you will get rust spots on your vehicle!

Very nice
This was very lightweight and fit perfect for our Tucson, however…my spouse and 16 year old were helping me put it together, everything was fine until we tried to mount it. The illustrations were not at all helpful and we had three different opinions on how to attach it, and we were all wrong! We had to look through some photos that previous purchasers were kind enough to take.We still haven’t left for our cross country trip from California to Maryland, so we’ll update later, but so far no problems driving with it around town and the highways.

This rack is a great rack, but YOU MUST SEAL ALL JOINTS AND HOLES WITH SILICONE OR IT WILL RUST.
Had it for several months now. ive driven with a full cooler and chairs on it for 1000 miles several times, still holds up.sealing all bolt holes, joints, and welds with silicone is essential. this is true for every rack. or you could spray paint it i suppose.

Works great, good buy for the price.
Purchased this prior to making an 8 hour road trip to Disneyland which required additional cargo storage due to 3rd row of seats being used. Despite what is said, Disneyland is not the happiest place on earth. People are shoving children out of the way to get into a 80 minute long line 30 seconds faster than anyone else. 40% of the families there have some one using a rental scooter "for medical reasons" which you will see the person get out of the scooter and have another family member use it. This persons will then walk normal like everyone else and seemly have no issues and are able to ride a rough rollercoaster that jerks you around. All to skip a line rather than pay for the "sort of" Fast Past or whatever they are calling it now. Thunderstorms kept closing down the rides despite it being Summer time in California. Between the Scorching Sun, Inconsiderate people and predatory prices, I can safely conclude this is not the happiest place on earth.Anyway the Cargo Basket worked perfectly as intended. 10/10 would purchase again.

Great value
We used this roof rack during our road trip from Georgia to Maine and it did great. We did not use the cargo carrier, just the rack with the net for our camping gear. It was easy to set up and the cargo felt safe in place. I added a few bungee cords for extra safety. We don't know about how effective the carrier is in terms of waterproofing your cargo since we did not use it. Our stuff got a little bit wet while passing through a shower but it was mostly waterproof stuff in itself so we did not care. So far I am happy with this purchase.
