The his was a birthday gift for a 5 year old. He loved it. Adult should use caution and not stomp on it. You can use it, just don’t stomp. Lotsa fun for the kids.

The kids love the pump rocket. It's a good educational toy (gross motor, coordination, concentration, math-trajectory, cognitive...) plus they just enjoy playing it. It seems quite durable as the rockets have flown into small trees, the house, water and been run over. The stand can be broken since it's plastic but luckily we haven't had any issues with that. :)

This toy is a lot of fun for the kids. The only drawbacks are that the legs break easy when used by enthusiastic kids and the fins will break off if held while loading the launcher. The most natural way to hold the rocket is by the bottom end of the rocket while loading the launcher. If you hold the rocket buy the bottom end you also hold the fins. They break off when held this way. If you hold the rocket by the top no fins will break but for small hands it is not as easy to load. When little ones get excited, and they will while playing with this toy, they don’t remember to hold the rocket by the top. The fins are easy to glue back in place, if you can find them. They legs work but are defiantly not kid proof. If a child accidentally steps on one or kicks the launcher it can break the legs. The launcher can still function with only two legs though. I’ve tried gluing the broken legs back together but the glue does not hold up. May have to try epoxy instead.

Short story: Overall this was a good purchase which is why I rated it 3 stars instead of 2. My kids really enjoy it. The rocket can go very high. However after less than a week, pieces of the rocket have fallen off which leaves me to wonder how long this will last.Long story: I ordered this for my sons second birthday. He likes to watch things fly in the sky. His 4 year old brother could not have been more excited to make that happen for him with this rocket. He absolutely loves it. My 4 year old used it with ease and my 2 year old is figuring it out but mainly enjoys running to get the rocket and bringing it back.It is impressive how high my son can launch the rockets and when an adult gives it a go it is surprising how high it will go. It’s easy to use and set up and provides a lot of fun.My lower ratings were entirely because of the lack of durability. I have two boys and I need toys to last more than a few days. Although the rockets can still be used they are broken and i imagine it’s only a matter of time before more pieces fall.Gift ability: 3 stars because it is fun for all (adults included) and easy to set up and use immediately. However I like to give gifts that last.Durability: 1 star because my kids were using them appropriately and within days pieces started falling off.Value for money: in the grand scheme of things, a paid activity would cost more than this item cost so I gave it three stars because it was a lot of fun. however I try to reduce our waste where I can and I am concerned this will be in the trash within the next few weeks.

My 4 year old grandson loves this toy! He is able to work it himself. The only issue we've had is some of the rocket pieces come off. I've just glued them back on and really don't think it is necessary for the toy to work. My 3 year old grandson is a little small for his age and he hasn't quite got the weight to stomp the rocket and isn't able to jump yet so we've got a small stool for him to jump off of to land on the launcher and they both think that is pretty cool.

Fun rocket toy as we used it for Chinese New Year celebration since we didn’t have fireworks and fire crackers. We pretty much just let the kids play with this while we celebrate and eat. It’s so easy to use and kids can attach the parts easier back on their own. Minimal need to set up as it’s more plug and play type. We played with it very roughly and kids pulled and tucked the rockets and it lasted for a whole weekend of very tough play. My use of it was for single session and it worked perfect.
