fits perfect, been using it for over a year now
works perfect for the standard Aeropress. Unfortunately we lost ours by accidently throwing it away. This fits perfectly and we have been using it for over a year now.

The quality is amazing!!!
I’m very happy with The MESH Reusable Metal Filter for my AeroPress! It fits perfectly in both the AeroPress and AeroPress Go, and it delivers a smooth, flavorful cup of coffee without any grit. The mesh design allows for more of the natural oils to pass through compared to paper filters, which enhances the taste of the coffee. It’s also eco-friendly and easy to clean, which saves money and reduces waste. If you're a fan of AeroPress, this metal filter is a great upgrade for your brewing experience.

Works fine but not worth the cost
I liked the idea of this reusable filter to save waste, but after just a month on the job we misplaced it or accidentally threw it out. You would need to reuse this filter up to 800+ times before making it equal in cost to paper filters.

The best espresso
It is true that the water runs too quickly through the mesh, as other reviewers have said. I bought the filter because I was into cold brew and used the aeropress to filter out the grounds after it had steeped. I had to make two pours of the steeped coffee and disassemble and clean the press between pours or it clogged and splurted coffee everywhere. I thought a filter like this would work better for that purpose, but it doesn't. Also, I was drinking more decaf and wanted a clear way to distinguish between filters used for decaf and those used for regular espresso. All that said, once I figured out how to make hot coffee using this filter it is so spectacular that I have not yet returned to cold brew! My secret: I tilt the press as it sits in my coffee cup, measure the water using the plunger and have the stirrer in my hand as I add the water. Tilting the Aeropress lets the grounds steep long enough, even though it is only maybe ten to twenty second longer. The flavor is full-bodied, winey and so rich that, for the first time in my life, I stopped adding cream because it detracted from the outstanding espresso experience. I love that the filter is so easy to clean (I use a dish brush to get under the edge of the rim). Much better coffee than with the paper filter. Can't compare to the other Altura filters because this is the only one I've tried. It seems to be very well-made and I am hoping to get years of use from it.

A Tale of Tragedy and Redemption
My boyfriend had been using disposable filters that were (for some reason) very hard for him to find to fit into his AeroPress. He'd have to buy them in bulk when he found them because he wasn't sure if he'd find them again. Then he ran out and couldn't find them, and for something like a year was using regular filters that he would stack about five deep and cut into a circle to cram into the AeroPress filter hole. What a sad, sad, tragic figure he was. Then I discovered this! I bought it for him in secret and stuck it in his AeroPress. He went to make coffee, prepared to cut his sad little circles out of regular coffee filters. And then!"What's thiiiiiis!" he cried out, mad with excitement. "The solution to all your problems," I said. "That's what it is."He's loved it ever since.I know some reviewers have had issues with theirs not fitting, but I must've gotten one of the good ones because it fit in there fine. It washes easily and it's quite durable -- we've had it for months and it's still in perfect shape. I don't drink coffee myself, but I'm told by him that the mesh is quite fine and very few (if any) coffee grounds get through. In fact the mesh is so fine that he's actually used it for other things he's experimented with, like making almond milk or some kind of other crazy thing, I don't exactly know what he gets up to in there.Anyway, great filter. ^-^
