Great quality
My dog loves this brand. It seems to help with skin and digestive issues. We had switched brands for something cheaper and ended up going back to this brand because he had less tummy and skin issues with this brand. They have such a variety of flavors and good Ingredients. It was 20 bucks cheaper on Amazon and came quickly as opposed to in store

Excellent food...but made my dog stinky!
I switched to this food because it was highly rated and my son feeds the Ancient Prairie flavor to his dogs and they do very well on it. I would not hesitate to buy Taste of the Wild but the Ancient Stream variety did not agree with my dog. Unfortunately she started to smell really bad and had uncontrollable itching even with her cytopoint injections. I switched back to her old food and in 4 days itching had stopped and smell was gone! I'm writing this in case anyone else notices these symptoms -- you may want to switch to the meat or poultry versions of this brand since the fish based diet can often release odors through the skin.

Don't listen to other reviews about a law suit.
EDIT 10/18/20:This review was supposed to be about the other GRAIN FREE version but I had ordered this Ancient Grains so that maybe my dog would benefit even greater but I think I was wrong. At first my dog Booboo was eating this food because I now realize that i had mixed in some of her old food to "ween" her off of it because its not good to just switch your dogs food right away, you have to slowly introduce them to a new brand or type of dog food. So anyways, after I had stopped giving her the mixed food and I was giving her only the Ancient Grains, she slowly stopped eating it and he poo was getting soft and wet instead of solid and normal. So as of now she will not eat this food and its been 3 days! I had to mix it with wet dog food and even then she ate half or only small portions and now she wont even eat that! I have to give her can food only!SO, thank god I got the old "grain free" version today and guess what? SHE ATE THE ENTIRE BOWL AND WAS SO HAPPY! So, sadly I cannot recommend this Ancient Grains but as a whole this company does a great job and truly cares about animals so please people don't be disrespectful to themORIGINAL REVIEW:My dog started eating this as a pup due to her having severe allergic reaction to CHICKEN FAT (chicken fat is the NUMBER ONE food allergin for dogs btw). Every vet doctor that I had brought my dog to said things like, "she's not going to live long", "Its a hereditary blood disease, we need more money for lifelong care", "more money for tests", etc, etc, etc... NOT ONE VET EVEN SUGGESTED AN ALLERGY TEST!Anyways, after reading about how chicken and chicken fat should not be fed to most dogs, I decided to change foods. I found this brand. Literally a month later all the symptoms and issues with my dogs skin and immune system cleared up and has been GONE for 10 years now!I can't believe people are quick to blame this company for the class action lawsuit! It has nothing to do with the brand or quality of food! The lawsuit stems from a supposed problem frm a grain free diet and possible heart problems in dogs. This company IS ONE OF MANY companies involved in the lawsuit. No dogs are not getting sick from this food and anyone who says their dog has gotten sick from this brand is either lying or their dog had eaten something else or they're over exaggerating. If any dog has gotten sick from this food, they're a extremely small percentage and doesn't represent the majority or the quality of this brands dog food. This will be the ELEVENTH year my Boston Terrier has been eating this exact brand. She went from having severe skin issues and immune problems from other brands with chicken and chicken fat to one of the most healthy dogs I've ever seen. She'll be 11 next year and she has ZERO gray hairs and the vet who's unfamiliar with her said she's 5 years old when she was actually 10 lolThis dog food literally saved my dogs life and saved me THOUSANDS on doctor bills! Thank you

It's a good upper mid tier dog food
Grain free diets are correlated to heart enlargement issues and is being investigated by one of the universities currently. One of our seniors has a heart more than 1.5 times the size it should be. Something about less grains, more protein, and less activity is said have caused it as no genetic defect was found in her or her pups. As such, I had to switch up brands and dog food to avoid further trouble since ours was only grain free for her and our other dogs. I like the brand Acana which also has grain options, but it seems less available in my area and is more expensive by a decent margin for the fish flavor which is good for our Siberians' coats. This is a great alternative and we switch between the two every 4 months or so to offer a little variety. (Fyi: Make sure to do so slowly to avoid stomach issues). Overall this is a good brand. I'd love to see them vacuum seal and add a zipper to the top of the bags, but otherwise I am quite happy with it.

Safe from pea protein!
My dog can be a bit picky, but likes everything I’ve given him from this brand. Taste of the Wild grain free products contain pea protein as a main ingredient, which is harmful to dogs’ heart health. I was glad when my vet recommended trying this version, since we didn’t have to change brands.

Great ingredients, healthy food, dogs love it!
My breeder recommenced this food for our German Shepherd 8 years ago. Our dog has a very sensitive stomach, and when we told our Vet what food we were using she said it was the absolute best choice. Great for large breeds especially. We normally get the grain free but it isn’t Available at the moment so we went with the same flavor just with the Ancient grains and neither of our dogs skipped a beat when they ate it. Highly recommend this food for a healthy dog. They seem to poop less and it’s not nasty smelling when they do. No greasy skin or itching. If you are looking for the best for you pet, this is the food to buy!

Great brand of dog food
Been using a different brand of dog food and realized it didn’t have fruits and veggies in it. Changed it to this brand and it’s been amazing for my dog. Who always thinks he’s starving. He now eats about 3/4 of it for dinner and leaves the rest for snacking at night. He did have some bad gas the first week or so when we changed him out slowly to the new stuff just w warning. Also the smell is a little u pleasant but hey if he enjoys it and it’s better for him I’ll take it
