Works good

I got my bypass installed the other day, and once everything was connected, it was time to chase the leaks. I was unable to get sufficient torque using a nut driver, but careful use of my impact driver did the trick. After a couple of rounds of tightening up, I for the first time ever was able to eliminate ALL leaks! Persistence is key. I am now working with the diverter valve to get optimum heat transfer.

It does not have enough hoses. To bypass, you may need an additional 2 short hoses (fortunately I had a couple extra). The 3 way valve works well. The T with pressure valve LEAKS. You have to get creative to get it to stop leaking, and even then... I tried using clamps that could be hand tightened at first. Then I used the included ones that need to be tightened with a screwdriver... still leaked. I used some Teflon tape to help decrease the amount of leakage. Then, there's the pressure gauge... WHY put a gauge there? It will never give you any amount of useful information. It's just one more place to leak. The reason I went with this kit was because I could not find a T valve by itself.

Worked good. The threads will leak with teflon tape. You need to use pipe dope, like rector seal. Wish it had O rings. I used lift pump tubing to and from the pool to extend my run. To make a positive seal on the inlet and outlet I used some rubber sink couplers over the tube and inlet/ outlet connections. That worked perfect

I needed this item for my pool install to connect my two heaters together. It was priced high and I should have just gone to the local store to get what I needed and saved a little money. But, then again, this was convenient, but did include a lot of extra parts that were not needed. I guess the manufacturer uses this kit to cover more than one type of application. All in all, a little higher priced, but worked out.

You get everything you need which is nice. I used this to go from my pool paper filter cartridge skimmer back to the pool return. I used the t valve to create an opportunity to filter or vacuum directly to waste. Perfect in concept, but the ball joint t value is not water tight. It leaks through the closed valve. Not idea. I should return this, but instead put a plug in the return to waste outlet, that I need to remove and then hook up the to waste hose before backwashing.

There is no schematic of the valve positions, so I suggest that prior to do the final installation that you make a diagram of the valve positions for later use in setting the valve at the selected position- full by-pass, partial by-pass position unless you have clear hose you will not know how much water goes trough the solar panel.

Very good quality bypass kit. Comes with everything you will need except a one way check valve which I bought separately. I would recommend for any solar panel.

Haven't used it yet, but sure it will be great, at least the fittings will match.
