Great desk, well constructed, love it.
Overall, a beautiful piece of furniture, well constructed, great price, great manufacturer customer service, and very suitable to my needs for my office. Totally satisfied, highly recommended.I really love this desk. It is exactly what I was looking for, and I looked at a lot of them If you are trying to assemble the desk on your own, I have made some suggestions regarding the assembly of the desk on your own, based on my experience. I highly recommend that you contact Customer Service should you have an issue with assembly. Don't rely on my experience or how I managed to build the desk on my own. Of note is that the assembly instructions are pictographs , so look at them carefully while assembling.I did contact Customer Service regarding a damaged piece. They handled my issue professionally and with great friendly service. The issue was resolved promptly and a replacement part was shipped immediately, at no cost to me.I have a home office that had a built in desk of about 7' long. It was adequate, but did not provide the desk top area that I needed, nor the storage. This desk provided all of that. It is very well constructed, the components fit together with no gaps or misalignment. It comes with a file drawer, a supply drawer, an under counter cabinet for storage, as well as two shelves one I use to store printer paper (3 3/4 inches tall) over the cabinet, and a second shelf ( 6 inches tall) over the drawers, that I use to store a package of file folders, envelopes, etc.I put the desk together with no help. I installed the desk top on the larger base unit after completing its assembly (a deviation from the instructions), and moved the larger base unit into place with some help. I supported from bottom of cross piece, not picking it up under the lip of desk top (that area can be fragile and might not support the weight of the desk) and the other end was picked up under the desk top overhang on the cabinet side which is well supported well by the cabinet, to the position where I needed it placed This piece it is heavy. I connected the return piece (the one with the drawers) after assembling it separately, again a deviation from the instructions, and combined it to the the main desk, again without help, After connecting it to the main desk. I put on the desk top on the return as per the instructions.I can't comment on the assembly time, since I took my time thinking through what needed to be done next, without assembly help. This added to overall time it took, longer than the 3 hours assembly time estimated in other reviews.

It's a beautiful desk and is true to the pictures - Assembly is a COMMITMENT
I bought this desk because I am working from home and need a lot of space for these monitors, which are each 20 inches, for the perspective. I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend this desk. Here is my feedback:PROS:- The finish is very pretty. I got the Harvest Cherry. It's not "wood", don't expect wood and you won't be disappointed.. this is particle board that has a finish, but it's a nice finish. You do want to be careful not to chip or scratch it, but it's not made of glass. I am honestly glad it is not real wood because this desk is very heavy already.- It has enough space to hold everything I need it to hold. Two 20-inch monitors, two laptops, some odds and ends, keyboard, mouse, etc. One of the sides is a little bit wider than the other (the side with the cabinet), just an FYI. The cabinet can fit a standing CPU or you can use it for whatever.- It's not too big and not too small for a space... It's a good-sized desk to have to sit at all day.- It looks exactly as advertised. No surprises.- I thought the glass in the cabinet looked a little cheesy in the advertisement but I wanted the desk anyway; in actuality the cabinet is pretty nice. I thought there were colored bars in the glass in the picture but it's actually just how they cut/designed the glass itself and that's how it looks when it's photographed. The quality is nice.CONS:- Okay, let's talk about this assembly -- there are 31 steps and some of them have these mini-steps. It WILL. take. A GOOD FEW HOURS. (Like maybe 4 hours) ... Do not underestimate this. It is not terribly difficult, you don't need to be a rocket scientist, but this is not a walk in the park. You CAN do it using only a screwdriver but my hand is in paaain now; a power screwdriver might really help as some other reviews have said. You have to screw in like 300 THINGS. :O D: The finished product is worth it though. My hand needs a spa day now but I am chilling at my nice new pretty desk lol. --- I did have to take a break and come back to it...- Guys, seriously, it's a whole carpentry project. You will need a screwdriver, a hammer, and some wood glue. The wood glue is for the dowels but the finished assembly will not be "relying" on the glue as it will be held in by other pieces; it's just very good measure and helps a lot during the process. I thought about it after-the-fact and would really not recommend skipping the glue, avoid the temptation if you don't have any and go get some lol. Be careful not to lose these little nails, it comes with the exact amount of things you need and it's a LOT of little screws and metal pieces. The good thing is the instructions are not hard to follow at all, everything is clearly labeled .... make sure you look closely at the drawings and pay attention when it says "finished side up" etc so you know your pieces are in the right orientation. On two steps it will direct you to watch a video to help, which is nice.- This phone holder shelf thing is kind of pointless. It would have been better if it were a real shelf... it won't fit many people's phones and I think it will be more convenient just to charge my phone and not have to string all these cords through to that part. But I don't mind it, it's not bothersome to me, it doesn't look ugly... I just doubt anyone is really using that feature. Maybe I'll just put my phone in it to prevent losing it. *shrug* So the desk has a little quirk. Probably everyone who ever sees your desk will be like "what's this part for" and you'll be like "I am not really sure" ..- You CAN put it together yourself, but it would be WAY. EASIER. with a helper (and the instructions say that you need one on four or five steps). If you do it yourself, you will have to use some boxes or something to hold parts up at times. I really do not recommend putting it together by yourself unless you have to. . ... Particularly the step where you put the big heavy slab on top and you need to make sure 22 bolts line up with 22 holes omg... I was SWEATING. (I am a 5' 3" woman, for the perspective... maybe if you're a big strappy dude it won't be a problem)... CAN it be done alone? Yes. But it's not made to be put together alone so please be careful not to hurt yourself. If you are strong enough to lift and install one of those older heavy window air conditioning units on your own, you can probably do this. If you are not, don't even try this, please get a friend; with a buddy it's probably a piece of cake. All in all, I REALLY like this desk. It was worth the assembly and the time. I am very happy with it.
