Nice aroma, great hold, worth the price. Easily washes out but with an all day hold.

My husband has tried a few different kinds of wax but this has been his favorite. He loves the hold and the fragrance.

So, the world of mustache waxes is rather convoluted. There are so many brands with so many claims and there is NO standardization of features. For example, literally any of them can claim "strong hold" and VERY few of them actually deliver on that particular claim. Because of the disparity in feature claims and delivery and the hazy definitions of the features to begin with I think you have to review mustache wax in a comparative manner.First, it does have a light piney aroma. That's important to note since many claim particular fragrances that you are entirely unable to smell. The fragrance is fairly light and not particularly noticeable after an hour or two but it is fairly pleasant when you first put it on.After fragrance we get to the more important question, how does it work? Despite their claim of a "strong hold" it is not, in fact, a strong hold. Now, while I do find this claim to be false and misleading I don't find it to be a negative feature. Its light hold is simply a feature to be taken into account and considered along with the other features of the product.The hold of the vast majority of moustache waxes depends on one factor: how hard is the wax? If the wax is soft and easy to work the hold will not be strong. If it is hard and requires you to heat it up to even dream of applying it the hold will be a strong one. This wax is very easy to work. At room temperature you may find it semi-hard but, no worry, all you need to do is scrape some with your thumb nail and work it between your thumb and forefinger for a few seconds. Your body heat is enough to make it completely workable. Alternatively, if you carry it in your pocket your body heat already has it at a perfectly workable temperature when you pull it out of your pocket.It's a good mustache wax but there is a tradeoff. It simply depends on your application and preference. If you thoroughly apply a liberal amount it will generally give you an adequate hold as long as it is undisturbed but you will probably find that you need to touch it up regularly. Heat and moisture cause it to lose its hold pretty quickly as well as contact with the area such as eating or drinking. The upside is that, since the wax is so soft, it is extremely easy to apply and reapply but if you're looking for an all day hold this isn't the wax for you.

Great smell, wax feeling, and overall great product. You do need to train your facial hair, but with proper care, this stuff will work for you!

First off, I absolutely love the scent of this one. Could do with a touch more tobacco scent, but whatever. Wife likes it too, and she disagrees with me on the tobacco. I like tobacco.It may be me, but the hold on this isn't what I wanted it to be. I could start it off and have a great shape and great curling, but by the time I leave the house, it's barely effective at all. Again though, I mess with my moustache a lot, so it could be completely my fault.The consistency is great, the wax is easy to use, the scent is excellent, the price is fine, but as a holder-upper for my moustache, it's only good long enough to snap a picture. Maybe they've got a beard oil in the same scent... That'd be awesome.

This product worked amazingly. When I got it today, I took the tiniest dab and rubbed it between my fingers prior to applying it to my mustache. It instantly allowed me to curl my mustache to perfection. I will be getting more of this once I run out. I highly recommend this mustache wax.P.S. it smells great

The only downside to this wax is the scent. It's not a bad scent, but you can't smell anything else over top of it. It also doesn't smell like cedar or leather to me. More of a citrus scent. It's rather strong and once I have waxed the stache, I can't smell anything else over it.

Overall the hold is pretty strong considering it’s being used on coarse beard hair. The product is very hard and requires you to scrape some out with your fingernail and then rub between your fingers before applying. It is long lasting and holds up well throughout the day, even with lots of facial movement. Smells pretty good as well and would recommend as a beard product to work into your collection of products
