A lot of fun and we love it so far. Have only tried lakes but I'm sure it will be just as good at the sound or ocean inlet (find out soon). It takes about 10 minutes or so to set up, is lightweight and easy to carry to launch. We are beginners but from what I can tell, it tracks well because we can really get some speed going and it stays pretty straight but can be maneuvered easily. It's also really comfortable and holds a good amount of gear and/or the pooch. Love that we can just take it anywhere and go. The inflatable portion is really a bladder that is inside under the fabric covering. Now that I know this, I'm much less concerned about being able to puncture it. Seems well made. Very happy with this purchase.Update 1/25/17: Still going strong with this thing. Still loving it. We did have one side bladder spring a very small leak near the seam. It was still under warranty and they sent me a brand new replacement side bladder set (both bladders). No other issues since other than some discoloration from the sun. Even though we have UV treated it, it's sort of purple now since we mostly use it for full days out at the beach. The discoloration does not affect the function of the kayak so we don't care much.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, who used to be a whitewater rafting guide. I didn't really know what I was doing when I started looking for boats, so I'll share what I learned about this one in the process:1. The boat is definitely great for lakes and gentle rivers. We haven't taken it on any whitewater yet, but my husband thinks it would be ok for rivers with mild rapids.2. It doesn't include paddles or a pump. I bought these paddles:  Shoreline Marine Kayak Paddle Rounded 96"  and this pump:  Advanced Elements Double Action Pump with Pressure Guage . I had originally bought a battery powered pump, but it didn't have the power necessary to inflate the kayak until it was hard. It inflates pretty fast with the hand pump.3. There is a fin in the back, which makes steering easier.4. Setup and take down are pretty fast (~10 minutes) once you get the hang of it.5. The position of the chairs in the boat is adjustable, so you can sit as far forward or as far back in the boat as you like. The angle of the backrest is also adjustable. The third middle seat is sort of like a wide bike seat. We haven't tried it yet.6. The boat had plenty of room for me, my husband, and a medium sized cooler.If you're on the fence about which boat to buy, I think this one is a great option. It seems to be a good value for the price. No frills, but a great starter boat.

This boat is very comfortable. 1psi floor and 2psi sponsons make for fast inflation. Very roomy for 2 adults. Not as fast as harder boats but who’s in a hurry. Works great with Tacoma easy top padded rooftop carriers

Good quality, very nicely made, performed well for an inflatable.... Found it comfortable for 2 adults, bit tight with a child as a third passenger. Wish the seat backs were taller... But that is my preference due to back issues...

I love this kayak! It's spacious, sturdy and handles well. The price is hard to beat for such a good kayak.

My husband and I enjoyed it together on the Intracoastal as well as the Atlantic Ocean. It did very well - very stable, easy to steer even in the waves and lots of fun. Inflates fast and easy even with a hand pump.

This kayak is great. We have only taken it out twice but two adults and a 90lb dog fit just great. Lots of room, easy to fill and carry and clean.

Vor 10 Monaten hab ich mir dieses Kajak bestellt und war bis dato sehr zufrieden, mit Lieferung und Ware. Das Kajak liegt super im Wasser, optimal zu zweit fahrbar. Trotz sorgfältiger Pflege und Handhabung ist mir jedoch nach ca. 5 x benützen, der Stoff gerissen, ohne Fremd-, bzw. Sonneneinstrahlung. Daraufhin hab ich es reklamiert, jedoch bis heute keine Antwort erhalten. Da das Boot nicht billig war und ich mir keine Schuld geben kann, finde ich das unmöglich. Nun wart ich nach dieser Rezession, ob sich das ändert und werde es euch wissen lassen, was weiter passiert.

Nach nicht einmal 2 Jahren ist wie bei einem anderen Rezensenten auch mir die Naht der Außenhülle oben am Kajak ohne mechanische Beanspruchung gerissen. Ich vermute eine Materialschwäche. Bei 660€ Kaufpreis nicht akzeptabel. Da das Produkt noch in der Gewährleistungsfrist ist, bin ich auf das Verhalten des Verkäufers gespannt (Surferworld).
