I thought these would work for my 15 pound little dog but it was a little short for my bed. Keep in mind my bed is super tall! so I wouldn’t listen to me there.My dog (3 yrs old) did not wanna go up them. I think if we would have trained her as a puppy, maybe but she didn’t like the plastic part of the stairs. They do have some foamy grippy stuff on top but the edges are all plastic and I think when her feet/nails would touch it, she didn’t think it was slip proof or sturdy enough. I’m not really sure, that’s the only reason I did four stars, but the actual product is nice.I mainly bought these bc my back is terrible and I thought this would be easier on me and her, she is a timid baby with stairs anyways so I would recommend this product but I would buy early in training for sure:)As she poses with it lol but she definitely won’t go all the way up. I tried to work with her but it’s just not for us.I also, took a couple pictures so you can see it by our bed and near a chair for example of its size. and it’s perfect height for the chair but like I said, our bed is just really up there so it’s an extra step.

I needed stairs for my 19 year old Kitty, Meisha, who is at the age where she's having trouble jumping up or climbing up on our bed which is 20 inches off the ground. This item was so simple to assemble and is solid as a rock, no shaking or bending, none at all, but very light weight, and my kitty learned to use it almost immediately. It isn't the cheapest one out there, but it was so well worth the price, and my kitty loves it, spends a lot of time going up and down the stairs. It's worth the price just to see her able to get up and down the bed without any effort at all. Only the best for my MEISHA!

Great purchase! Tho, my dogs dont like the sound of their feet tapping on the plastic, so i had to hot glue fabric over the top of the stairs. But awesome stairs!

These steps work great for my chiweenie. He no longer has to try to navigate a wobbly pile of pillows to hop on the couch or bed.I am really impressed with how sturdy the steps are. Along the lines of Little Tikes. There are always rubber feet so that your dog can come at the stairs full force and not risk having the stairs slide. (because even senior dogs still have the puppy in them)

Although this is a nice quality product, it is not good for our Boston Terrier. The steps are too narrow for our dog and he wouldn't use them. Our cats liked it but I ended up donating it to a thrift store.

My title says it all ... They're expensive for plastic that pops apart as easy as i put them together.If you buy these and never plan on taking them apart, you should glue every cog n hole ... Mine came apart with no warning and broke my babies knee .. And let me tell you ...knee surgery for a dog is extremely expensive.. No insurance .. You have to pay cash , so I'm not to happy about that . But i love the height and how light they are to move around and i can fill the under side with my shoes since it's hollow.. Lol . But seriously glue the cogs and all seams

These pet stairs were super easy to assemble by just snapping the pieces together. We bought a new bed and it was 3 inches higher than our previous bed. My Cavalier was having problems jumping into bed so we needed the stairs. These are the perfect height for our bed which measures 28 inches from the floor. I like that the stairs are plastic, easy to clean and very light. I trained my 20 lb Cavalier to go up and down the stairs with treats and it took about 10 minutes. He now uses them like a pro! The stairs are not very deep so I would recommend these for smaller dogs. They are sturdy but need to be up against the bed like I show in the picture. Great investment to help save my Cavalier's hips and prevent injuries from jumping.

I have a 20-year-old cat who struggles to jump compared to her younger days. This was perfect for my cat. I am terrible at putting things together on my own (it takes me a very long time to "interpret" Ikea instructions and put things together), but I put this together in no time. The instructions were written in English and there were pictures as well, which were very clear. Each part was clearly labeled with a letter so make it even easier to comprehend! It probably took me 10 minutes max to make the stairs. One thing I will state is that since the "inside" of the stairs are hollow, when your pet "jumps" on the stairs, you may hear a "thud." It's not too loud, but because I am a very sensitive sleeper at night, I wake up due to this sound. Just a heads up for those who are sensitive to sounds! Overall, great purchase and if I ever need to buy it again, I would! Descriptions were accurate as well! :D

It needs a strip of carpet gluing to it and then it is ok

I thought I was ordering the taller set of stairs so was disappointed that the description did not clearly outline the size Measures only 24"L x 14"W x 19.84"H . Otherwise I love the Pet Gear products and have several sizes and styles purchased over many years, recently switching from the browns to the greys.
